Zinno Doubles Through Aido

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Anthony Zinno raised to 26,000 on the button and it was folded to Sergio Aido in the big blind, who slid out a stack of green 25,000 chips into the middle, which was enough to put Zinno all in for his last 318,000. Zinno quickly called.

Anthony Zinno: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Sergio Aido: {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

The {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{j-Diamonds} flop put Aido well out in front. The {2-Diamonds} turn changed nothing, but the {a-Diamonds} river paired Zinno's ace and awarded him the double up.

Schindler Takes Out Kincaid

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

With around 200,000 already in the middle, a completed board read {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Hearts}. John Kincaid led out for 75,000 in the small blind and Jake Schindler ripped all in from early position.

Kincaid thought for a brief moment before making the call for his stack of 184,000. Schindler turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for a full house while Kincaid exited the tournament with {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

Schindler Re-Enters, Gets Clipped by McKeehen

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jake Schindler opened to 24,000 on the button and found one caller in Joe McKeehen in the big blind.

Both players checked on the {2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop and McKeehen led out for 22,000 on the {3-Diamonds} turn. Schindler called.

The {j-Hearts} completed the board and McKeehen reached for his chips. As soon as he did, Schindler slid his cards into the muck — awarding the pot to McKeehen.

Sammartino Triples, Grafton Eliminated

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

There was a massive three-way all in taking place on Table 429 with a lot of chips in the middle. Dario Sammartino was the shortest stack with 280,000, Sam Grafton was all in for 523,000 and Michael Addamo had them both covered.

Dario Sammartino: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}
Sam Grafton: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Michael Addamo: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The dealer fanned the flop of {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} to give Sammartino the nut flush and Grafton a set of eights. The {10-Clubs} on the turn and the {q-Hearts} on the river secured the triple up for Sammartino but Addamo came from behind to make a straight and eliminate Grafton.

"Fun table guys," Grafton joked on his way out.

Addamo Beats the Clock to Leave Brewer Short

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

A big pot was brewing on the {3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades} turn. There was already about 200,000 in the middle and Chris Brewer put out a pot-sized bet of 200,000. Michael Addamo called and the river was the {5-Diamonds}.

Brewer fired another 700,000 representing most of his remaining stack. Addamo sighed and leaned into the table, staring at the board for answers as he went deep into the tank for a few minutes. Eventually, the clock was called and the floorman began counting down. With five seconds left on the count, Addamo put in a stack of chips to signify a call.

Brewer shook his head and turned over {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for jack-high. Addamo revealed {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for two pair and won the pot.

"I knew you were going to call once the clock was called," said Brewer. "I've seen it before."

Brewer was upset at his tablemate Mustapha Kanit for calling the clock.

"It was such a massive pot," said Brewer.

Addamo quietly collected the pot as he moved into the chip lead.

Smith Lays it Down

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Alexandros Theologis opened to 24,000 on the button and was called by Dan Smith in the small blind.

Both players checked on the {k-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop, but Smith led out for 50,000 on the {4-Clubs} turn. Theologis called.

Smith checked to Theologis when the {10-Diamonds} completed the board and Theologis bet a hefty 172,000.

"I'll get rid of it before I shove," Smith said as he folded — conceding the pot to Theologis.

Nobody Can Beat Addamo

Level 8 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Sergio Aido opened to 25,000 from under the gun and Cary Katz shoved all in for around 200,000 in the cutoff. Michael Addamo re-shoved all in from the small blind which got Aido to quickly fold.

Cary Katz: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Michael Addamo: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

It was a coin flip and Katz held the lead after the {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop. However, the {a-Spades} on the turn gave Addamo a pair of aces and the {3-Diamonds} on the river sent Katz to the rail.

"Nobody beats Addamo," Katz mumbled as he got up from his seat. "Impossible."
