Bock Flops Top Set

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

With about 10,000 in the pot on a {2-Spades}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop, an early position player bet 3,000 which saw calls from Gregory Bock in middle position as well as a player in the cutoff.

The {10-Diamonds} turn saw a bet of 5,000 from the early position player which got a raise from Bock to 16,000. The cutoff player called and the early position ended up folding.

The {j-Hearts} completed the board and Bock put in a bet of 20,000 and was called. Bock showed the {8-}{8-} for a flopped set which beat the queens of his opponent. After the hand, the early position player claimed he folded kings, and Bock raked in the chips.

Carver Cracks Kings

Level 6 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Todd Zacharias had left the tournament area and his tablemates filled in on what had happened. It had gotten in before the flop and Todd held two Kings up against Derek Carver's {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The flop and turn were safe for the kings as it came {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

But the river was the {a-Diamonds} and Todd was eliminated and left the tournament area.
