Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

The field keeps shrinking at a rapid pace and among those waiting in the payout line were Irena Macesovic, Neel Murthy, Sonny Franco and Andrew Moreno. Around 550 players currently remain and that number will reduce significantly until it's time for bagging and tagging.

Ho Scores a Knockout Once More

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Following the jam by a short stack for just 65,000, the small also moved all-in and Chung Ho called with the superior stack in the big blind.

Short stack: {q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Small Blind: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Chung Ho: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The {q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board kept the short stack in contention while the small blind bowed out against Ho after missing the flush draw.

Fairclough Busts; Zurn Doubles

Level 19 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

David Fairclough got his chips in with the {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and was well ahead of {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}. However, his opponent made trips eights on the {q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. The very same player then three-bet and called the four-bet shove by Michael Zurn for 565,000 total.

Michael Zurn: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Opponent: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} board delivered no upset this time and Zurn doubled.

Iacofano Runs Into Kings

Level 19 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Kevin Iacofano moved all-in for 205,000 when the action got to him. The player in the cutoff made the call.

Cutoff: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Kevin Iacofano: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Iacofano rivered a flush and cracked his opponent's pocket kings to stay alive.

Gross Spikes a River Double

Level 19 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Following an open raise and a shove by a player for 290,000, Matthew Gross called all-in for 265,000. The initial raiser folded the {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} face up and was then greeted by the initial jammer's {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Gross tabled the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} and made the top two pair on the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop but still needed another ace.

The {3-Hearts} turn was a brick but the {a-Diamonds} river came to the rescue for Gross.

The Rich Get Richer

Level 19 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Thomas Patzner raised and then called the shove of a short stack for what appeared to be 165,000.

Patzner was trailing preflop with {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} versus {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and fell further behind on the {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. However, the {7-Spades} turn and {j-Spades} river completed an unlikely flush, and Patzner further chipped up.
