Takayama Loses a Chunk

Level 22 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Mike Takayama check-called a bet of 130,000 on the {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} turn and the {4-Hearts} river was checked. The Filipino was shown the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and that won the pot.

Shortly after, a three-way limped pot led to the {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop on which the player in the blinds bet, earning calls from Baseem Nsier and Takayama. On the {6-Spades} turn, Nsier bet 100,000 and Takayama raised to 260,000 for Nsier to call. Both checked the {4-Hearts} river and Nsier won the pot with {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the straight.

Nsier then lost an all-in showdown when a short stack didn't see his raise from under the gun, called preflop and jammed a {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop with {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. He received the call from Nsier with {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and the river brought another club.

Level 21 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Nitis Udornpim opened with a min-raise. The player in the hijack moved all-in for 300,000. The action folded back around to Udornpim and he called.

Hijack: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Nitis Udornpim: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. Udornpim turned a pair of aces for the knockout.

Townsend Picks Up Aces At the Right Time

Level 21 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Following the shove by a shorter stack for around 300,000, Marco Townsend just called. All other opponents folded and the cards were turned over.

The player at risk tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} but ran smack dab into the {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} of Townsend. Nothing changed on the {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board and Townsend added to his growing stack.

Burton Busts One

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

"Way too many outs," it was summed up by another player at the table as a shorter stack was all-in with the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. Robbie Burton had that covered and took the flip with {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. The {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades} board was a tease with the flush and wheel draw but Burton's pair held up to earn the pot.

Patzner Sucks Out

Level 20 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Thomas Patzner raises to 80,000 in early position. Another player moved all-in for 200,000. When the action folded back to Patzner he made the call.

Thomas Patzner: {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Opponent: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades} with the queen in the window. Patzners opponent flopped top set but the turn card was the {8-Clubs} giving him the straight.

The river was the {6-Spades}. Patzner got the knockout and chipped up.
