Bane Binks a Big Double

Level 17 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

"Sorry in advance, the jack of spades is always coming," the table big stack announced when he put a short stack and Bradley Bane at risk. The short stack had {q-Spades}{8-Clubs} and the big stack revealed the {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. Bane had the best of it with {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and prevailed on the {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board to double for 307,000.

Ho Earns a Knockout

Level 17 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The number of remaining players is dropping very quickly and among the latest casualties was a short stack who got it in via flip with {a-Spades}{k-Spades}. Chung Ho made the call with the {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and hit a set on the {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} board.

"Good game guys, it was nice playing with you," the eliminated player said and bumped fists with all opponents before departing. No complaints, no outburst, no drama at all even though no payout was locked up by then.

Opponent: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}
