Denove Raises River

Anthony Denove raised to 2,500,000 preflop and David Guay defended his big blind.

The flop of {5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{2-Clubs} was checked through and the turn of {4-Spades} which David Guay bet 4,200,000 and Denove called.

The river came the {9-Spades} and Guay once again bet 4,200,000 and Denove raised to 17,300,000. Guay quickly folded and Denove took down the pot to put hi in the chip lead.

Jeff Platt's chip stack was hovering around a few blinds for a while after some shoves and no calls. There were a few times he was unwilling to call a shove, but finally, there was a shove and a call as Platt moved all in for 8,400,000 from under the gun and big stack David Guay called from the big blind.

Platt's large rail yelled for the board to hold but the flop came {j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts} to hit Guay and send him into the lead. The turn was the {10-Clubs} to give Platt a gutshot. The dealer paused for dramatic effect before dealing the {9-Spades} on the river which was not enough for Platt as his memorable run ended in a fourth place finish.

David Guay raised under the gun to 2,000,000 and Frank Lagodich defended the big blind.

The flop came out {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Frank Lagodich bet 5,900,000 which Guay called.

The turn of {10-Spades} was bet by Lagodich again for 5,900,000 and Guay called once more.

The river came out {5-Hearts} and after a little bit of time Lagodich went all-in and Guay snap-called. Frank Lagogdch tabled {a-Spades}{q-Spades} for top pair top kicker, but Guay turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a full house.

Guay won the pot and Lagodich was eliminated in fifth place.

The river came the {4-Clubs}. Guay bet 3,100,000, Platt took a few moments before he folded as his stack gets shorter.

Frank Lagodich moved all in from under the gun for 4,500,000. It folded to Timothy Little in the big blind who made a crying call.

"Fade the honey" yelled Lagodich to his rail who were vocally supporting him. The flop came with a nine in the window as it came {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}. The turn was the {k-Hearts} to give Little a straight draw but the river was the {8-Clubs} and Lagodich doubled up.
