Guay Gets Value With Top Flush

From the small blind, Frank Lagodich raised and David Guay defended in the big blind.

The flop came down {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. Lagodicth bet 800,000, Guay called.

The turn was the {7-Spades}. Lagodich led again for 2,800,000 and Guay came along for the ride to the river which came the {10-Spades} to put three spades on board.

Lagodich led with a small downsized bet of 1,400,000. Guay took his time before cutting out a raise to 10,300,000. Lagodich looked uncomfortable immediately and moved around in his chair staring down Guay. Eventually, after a couple of minutes, he called.

Guay tabled the {k-Spades}{3-Spades} for the top flush. Lagodich showed visible frustration, angrily mucked his cards and walked away from the table to cool off as Guay collected the big pot.

Little Overtakes Platt in Chips

From the hijack Jeff Platt raised to 1,800,000. Timothy Little called from the big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. Platt continued with a bet of 1,200,000, Little called.

The turn was the {7-Spades}, both players checked it to the river which was the {10-Diamonds}. Little led with a bet of 2,800,000 and Platt folded quickly to send the pot to Little who has now overtaken Platt in chips by a thin margin.

Little More Than Doubles in Four-Way Pot

Level 36 : 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Anthony Denove unintentionally flatted under the gun, thinking the big blidn was a raise. Timothy Little called from middle position. David Guay called from the cutoff and the big blind Steven Stozenfeld came along to.

The four players saw a flop of {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}. Little jammed all in and was called by Guay, the other two players folded quickly.

Little had the {a-Spades}{8-Spades} for top pair and the nut flush draw while Guay had two-pair with the {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} to give Little trips and the river was the {7-Clubs} to give him the big pot to more than double.

Anthony Denove opened to 1,300,000 on the cutoff and from the small blind, Matthew Raffoul went all-in for 7,600,000. Michael Wang went into the tank for roughly a minute before he declared he was all-in for 11,600,000. Denove checked his hand again and called with the covering stack.

The turn came a {7-Hearts} meaning Raffoul needed a nine to stay alive, and Wang needed a ten or five. The river came a {3-Hearts} and Denove scooped the biggest pot of the whole tournament, eliminating Raffoul in 10th place and Wang in 9th place, because he had more chips.
