Action folded to the player on the button who called the big blind. Jeff Platt in the small blind raised to 3,700. The big blind folded and action went back to the button who called.

The flop came down and Platt led for 2,900. The button raised to 10,000 and after briefly thinking about it, Jeff Platt went all in for 40,200. The button asked for a count and then called.

Platt's flush draw was no good as his opponent held the higher flush draw. Platt needed to hit his straight or running cards to stay alive.

Luckily for him, the turn came a , giving Platt a straight and putting his opponent in need of completing his flush. The river came out a which kept Platt ahead and he raked in the pot.
