Sannino Busts Gumz

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

On a flop {2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} with a pot already containing around 20,000, Diminick Sannino sent a bet worth 7,000 and Fabian Gumz thought about his move for a minute before shoving for a stack approaching 40,000. It was snap-called by Sannino who had him covered:

Fabian Gumz: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Dominick Sannino: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

The rest of the board didn't help Gumz with a {j-Hearts} turn and a {8-Clubs} and Sannino took down the pot.

Ryan Leng

Ryan Leng opened to 2,400 in early position and Dario Sammartino called in the big blind.

Sammartino checked on the flop of {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Leng checked back, and the same action took place on the {k-Spades} turn.

Sammartino led out with a bet of 4,000 on the {2-Clubs} river and Leng quickly called. Sammartino conceded the pot to his opponent and mucked, and Leng raked in the pot without having to reveal his hand.

Good Call for Guilbert

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante
Johan Guilbert
Johan Guilbert

It folded to Johan "YohViral" Guilbert who raised to 1,600 on the button and faced a three-bet worth 5,800 by the big blind. Guilbert opted to call to see a paired flop {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. The big blind took a minute and continued for 8,000, called by Guilbert.

The turn fell a {8-Clubs} and the big blind tanked for some time before checking, followed by Guilbert.

The {3-Spades} was dealt on the river and this time the big blind announced all-in for a stack above 100,000, putting Guilbert at risk for his tournament's life with 42,000 chips left. The latter went deep into the tank and eventually tossed a chip in the middle for the call after the clock has been called.

The big blind revealed {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} but Guilbert had him beat with {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the full house and the double up.

Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu opened to 2,000 and late position and the button flat-called. The player in the big blind then raised to 9,400 and Negreanu called, while the player on the button folded.

The player in the big blind checked on the flop of {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{a-Hearts} and Negreanu checked back, and the same action took place when the {2-Clubs} on the turn paired the board.

Both players checked once more on the {7-Hearts} river and Negreanu's opponent showed {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} for aces and deuces. Negreanu mucked.
