Alexandre Reard moved all in for 371,000 in the blinds after a raise from Ankush Mandavia and the latter called with a stack slightly under.

Reard was in bad shape for a double up, and the flop first came . However, a fell on the turn and a hit the river to give him the flush and eliminate Manadavia in 24th place.
Joao Simao opened in early position and Ren Lin three-bet to 85,000 on the button.
"Do you always have it?" Simao asked his opponent before acting. Simao didn't get much out of Lin and four-bet jammed for 333,000. Lin took some time and eventually folded.
"So you don't have it always," Simao concluded aloud.
Tony Miles opened to 32,000, Conrad Simpson shoved for 60,000 and Jamie Sequeira made the call.
The action was back on Miles, who shoved for an additional 187,000 and Sequeira called that as well.

The flop was putting Simpson ahead with his pair of kings. The hit the turn, giving Miles more outs to a heart flush. The river was , Simpson tripled up and Sequeira picked up the side pot.
On the bubble, Daniel Lazrus three-bet an open to 100,000 and Andrew Kelsall shoved for about 225,000. Lazrus called and Kelsall was at risk.

Daniel Negreanu is among the chip leaders heading into Day 2 of Event #47: $5,000 Freezeout (8-Handed) at the 2021 World Series of Poker. Negreanu, who is after his seventh WSOP bracelet, sits fourth in chips with a healthy stack of 617,000, trailing only Daniel Rezaei (702,000), Benjamin Chalot (733,000) and chip leader Jamie Sequeira. Sequeira was the only player to surpass a million chips on Day 1 with a stack of 1,070,000.
A total of 421 players entered the single-entry event and only 82 survived to bag and tag on Day 1. A total of 64 places will be paid, with a minimum cash being worth $8,000 and the first-place prize being worth $426,694.

Negreanu is searching for his first bracelet of the series after final tabling both Event #32: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. and Event #36: $10,000 Dealers Choice 6-Handed Championship but ultimately coming up short in both. To earn the bracelet, Kid Poker will have to navigate through a field that includes Shaun Deeb, Scott Seiver, Joni Jouhkimainen, Alexandre Reard, Dario Sammartino, Joao Simao and Johan Guilbert.
Some of the biggest names in poker were in the field in Day 1 but failed to make it to the second day of play, including Phil Hellmuth, Joe Hachem, Chance Kornuth, Maria Ho, Anthony Zinno, James Chen, Dan Shak and Darren Elias.
