Frazin Doesn't Want to Gamble

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 2,400 ante
Tim Frazin
Tim Frazin

No-Limit Hold'em

Tim Frazin was in the small blind and facing an all-in bet of 30,000 from a player in early position. "I've been running pretty good," Frazin said.

He eventually folded, claiming he had pocket deuces, to preserve his stack of 250,000. "If I'm a good player, why do I need to gamble," he said.

The next hand, Frazin three-bet to 15,000 and showed {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} after everyone folded. "That's skill. I made him fold," he said.

Pot-Limit Omaha

The action was picked up on the flop of {q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} and a player under the gun bet 3,000.

Maria Ho made the call to see the turn and it was the {10-Hearts} and the player under the gun checked.

Ho made a pot sized bet of 16,100 and the player under the gun tanked briefly before he mucked his hand.

Lee Doubles Through Wiseman Twice

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Douglas Lee came back from the last break with 150,000, one of the largest stacks in the room. But they were all in the middle 90 minutes later when he went all in against Noah Wiseman.

The board showed {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Lee was all in for 49,000. Wiseman eventually called but mucked when Lee turned over {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for trip tens.

On the next hand, Lee limped in from under the gun and Wiseman raised to 7,000. Ryan Revai then moved in for 24,400. Lee, not seeing Revai's bet, put in only the chips to call Wiseman's raise but was forced to call the all in. Wiseman then shoved and Lee snap-called.

Ryan Revai: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Douglas Lee: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Noah Wiseman: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Wiseman didn't get any help on the {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} board and Revai and Lee split the main pot while Lee doubled through Wiseman again for the side pot.

Chin Doubles Through Van Loo, Knocks Out One

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

One short-stack was already all in on a board of {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts} when Tim Van Loo pushed forward enough orange 5,000 chips to put Michelle Chin in for the rest of her chips.

Chin went into the tank for several moments, counting down her stack before committing the chips to call. Van Loo turned over {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for a missed flush draw, the all in player had {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for flopped two pair, but Chin had them both beat with {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} for the turned set of fives.

Chin doubled up through Van Loo, while the player with two pair was eliminated.

Song Puts Moorman to the Test in Big Pot

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

There was already 50,000 in the pot on the river with the board showing {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts} when Chris Moorman checked and Stephen Song bet nearly his entire stack of 20,600, leaving only a single black 100 chip to cap his cards.

Moorman studied the board for a moment before throwing his cards back to the dealer. "Did you river a five," Song asked as the two bracelet winners shared a laugh.
