Pappas Hits Running Ducks to Double Through Bagosy

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
John Bagosy
John Bagosy

There was heads-up action after a {7-}{5-}{4-} flop between John Bagosy and Cliff Pappas.

Pappas led out with a bet and then called off his 75,000 stack after Bagosy raised all in.

Cliff Pappas: {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
John Bagosy: {5-}{4-}

Pappas flopped top-pair but was still trailing Bagosy after he flopped two-pair.

Luckily for Pappas, the board completed with running {2-}{2-} to give him a better two-pair and he collected his double-up.

Obara Makes Aces Full to Triple

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a flop of {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} there were a series of raises before Jun Obara ended up all in for 74,000 and two players called.

The turn was the {a-Clubs} and both players playing for a side pot checked to see the {5-Clubs} on the river. The player first to act check-folded to a bet of 50,000.

The player who bet tabled {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, for a flush draw that made fives full of aces and Obara tripled up as he showed {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} for aces full of fives.

Strelitz Good at Showdown

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Daniel Strelitz opened in early position and both of the blinds called.

All three players checked on the flop of {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and the same action took place on the {q-Spades} turn.

The three players checked a third time on the {k-Hearts} river. One of the opponents showed ace-high, but it was no good against the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} of Strelitz for a pair of tens.

McGowan Wins Race to Send One Packing

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
David McGowan
David McGowan

A series of preflop raises saw David McGowan four-bet jam from the hijack and his opponent called off their 111,000 stack from the cutoff.

Opponent: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}
David McGowan: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

McGowan was behind until the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} flop paired his queen and also gave him a Broadway draw.

The {9-Spades} turn didn't change a thing nor did the {6-Clubs} river and McGowan eliminated his opponent from the tournament.

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The under-the-gun player raised to 12,000 and Faisal Ahmed called in the cutoff before the big blind jammed for 35,000. The player under the gun clicked it up to 58,000 and Ahmed ripped his entire 261,000 into the middle. The original raiser got out of the way and both hands were shown.

Big blind: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Faisal Ahmed: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Ahmed had his opponent dominated and held when the board ran out {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Leng Loses Pot

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

Ryan Leng was in a four-way pot on the flop of {9-Spades}{q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and called a bet of 14,000 from the player on the button, which the player in the small blind also called.

The {2-Spades} turn checked through and the small blind led out with a bet of 18,000 on the {4-Clubs} river. Leng called while the player on the button folded.

The small blind showed {q-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a pair of queens and Leng mucked his hand.
