Both players checked to the {7-Hearts} turn, where Beauprez led out for 200,000. Lau called to the {5-Spades} river and Beauprez fired 500,000. Lau did not take long before making the call and both hands were turned up.

Beauprez tabled {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} while Lau revealed {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for top pair to recover some critical chips.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Spades}, Beauprez checked and so did Lau for the {5-Spades} to be turned around. Beauprez fired a bet of 500,000 out for Lau to come along to the {10-Spades} on the river.

Beauprez barreled a 1,400,000 bet over the line which Lau called but he mucked his hand when Beauprez tabled the {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the nut-flush.

John Beauprez completed his small blind but Ka Kwan Lau raised to 600,000 from the big blind which Beauprez called too.

The flop was the {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Beauprez opted to check and Lau continued with a bet of 850,000. Beauprez thought about it for a while and then opted raise the pot for Lau to fold.
