Mueller Busts in Big Pot Against Julia

Level 12
Greg Mueller
Greg Mueller

No-Limit Hold'em

In a preflop three-bet hand, a massive pot emerged to the {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{3-Clubs} river on which table chip leader Nicholas Julia moved forward a wall of chips for more than 160,000. Greg Mueller had around 130,000 behind and was in the tank. He eventually called it off as Julia announced the nuts and tabled {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Mueller exposed {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a flush with the ten and was eliminated. He wished everyone good luck, bumped fists and headed out of the tournament area. Julia appears to be the current chip leader by a wide margin towards the end of the second level on Day 2.

Opponent: {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs} / {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{k-Hearts} / {7-Spades}

The steady flow of eliminations on table 419 continues as a short stack arrived and got his chips in against Todd Ivens.

"I have queens up," Ivens announced as he made queens and deuces. His opponent replied "that's good" as he just peeled a pair of sevens on seventh street and hit the rail.

Pan Takes From Abrams

Level 13

Seven Card Stud

Qinghai Pan: {x-}{x-} / {5-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} / {x-}
Scott Abrams: {x-}{x-} / {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} / {x-}

Qinghai Pan bet on all streets and Scott Abrams was eventually in the tank on seventh. "Sorry guys, I have no idea what I am doing," he joked, more talking to himself than anyone at the table. Abrams eventually called and Pan rolled over the {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} for fives full of aces.
