Eshkar Busts as Turned Flush Can't Hold

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With about 70,000 in the pot and a flop of {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, Eyal Eshkar moved all in for 45,000 from the big blind. Mike Watson called in the hijack, Matt Berkey folded the cutoff, and Asi Moshe called on the button.

The {5-Diamonds} turn saw Watson and Moshe check, and the {k-Diamonds} river saw Moshe fold to a 100,000 bet by Watson.

Eyal Eshkar: {x-Diamonds}{x-Diamonds}
Mike Watson: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}

Eshkar turned a flush but the fourth diamond came on the river to give Watson a nut flush and oust Eshkar.

Yunis Stacks Mackoff

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Nick Yunis
Nick Yunis

Nick Yunis was seen raising all-in in a heads-up pot against Jonas Mackoff, who had already committed most of his stack on the board of {8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.

"I'm just taking a moment to mentally prepare," said Mackoff. "I think I have to call."

Mackoff did call as the at-risk player and Yunis showed the best hand with {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a set of sixes. Mackoff had a big hand as well and showed {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for two pair before leaving the tournament area.

George Wolff

George Wolff went all-in with a short stack in late position and Nabil Cardoso called in the small blind with his opponent covered.

George Wolff: {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Nabil Cardoso: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The flop of {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Diamonds} gave Cardoso top pair but also gave Wolff hope with a straight draw. But he couldn't get there as the board ran out {9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Wolff left to register for Event #57: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship.

"I've got to defend my second-place finish," Wolff said.

Lin Doubles on Bubble

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Boris Kolev put Ren Lin all in and Lin called off his stack of about 160,000 fairly quickly. He needed to survive to avoid being the bubble boy. Once all other tables completed their hand, the players revealed their hands.

Ren Lin: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Boris Kolev: {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Lin was ahead and the {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop kept him well ahead. The {10-Spades} turn and {6-Spades} river kept him alive and in contention.

"No gamble, no future!" Lin yelled after doubling.
