Boris Kolev
Boris Kolev

On a board of {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{j-Clubs}, Justin Bonomo checked in the hijack and Boris Kolev bet 27,000 in the cutoff. Bonomo called.

The {8-Clubs} completed the board and Bonomo checked again. Kolev fired out a bet of 83,000 and Bonomo thought about it and ultimately called.

Kolev showed {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a rivered straight flush and now appears to have the biggest stack in the tournament.

Jake Schwartz
Jake Schwartz

Adrian Mateos opened from under the gun and the action folded to Jake Schwartz, who three-bet to put Mateos all-in. Mateos called off with a stack of around 75,000.

Adrian Mateos: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Jake Schwartz: {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Schwartz didn't have to sweat the flip long as the flop came out {j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} to give him quad jacks. Mateos was drawing stone dead heading to the runout of {3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and was eliminated from the tournament.

Grafton is a "Luck-Box"

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

Sam Grafton was seen moving all-in for around 166,000 against Jan Bednar on a board reading {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades} with a significant amount of chips already in the middle.

Bednar eventually called for the vast majority of his stack and mucked when Grafton rolled over {j-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a rivered straight.

Players at the table discussed the hand afterward, and Grafton apparently check-raised on the flop and bet on the turn.

"What a luck-box," someone at the table said.

Schulman Survives Bubble

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Nick Schulman
Nick Schulman

Vojtech Ruzicka opened to 20,000 in the hijack and Nick Schulman jammed in his 41,000 stack on the button. Ruzicka called and they waited for the other tables to finish before revealing their hands.

Schulman was talkative and tried to come to terms with the possibility of him bubbling. He appeared to go through all of the stages of grief while waiting on the other tables to complete their hands as a crowd of cameras and other players gathered.

Eventually, only Schulman's table was left and hands were revealed.

Nick Schulman: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Vojtech Ruzicka: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Ruzicka and most of the players in the room were looking for an ace. The flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The turn was the {10-Hearts} to give Schulman a set but he still needed to fade a queen. The {a-Diamonds} came on the river to confirm Schulman's double as the tournament again continues hand-for-hand play.

"I'm sorry everybody," Schulman said jokingly. "You rats, you little greedy rats." Many in the room laughed as they dispersed back to their own seats.

Abhinav Iyer
Abhinav Iyer

Clement Richez was riding the short stack and saw a flop of {7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Hearts} with just 4,000 behind against Abhinav Iyer.

"Did you hit?" Iyer asked his opponent before he made a decision. "It's highly unlikely that I am folding. You know that."

Richez checked and Iyer bet 4,000 to put his opponent all-in and at risk on the money bubble. Richez called.

Clement Richez: {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Abhinav Iyer: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

Iyer was ahead with ace-high and stayed ahead as the board ran out {5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} to send Richez home on the bubble.
