Boivin Five-Bet Jams

Level 5 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Thomas Boivin raised under the gun to 8,000. Ali Imsirovic three-bet to 20,000 from the next position. It folded to Jared Jaffee in the small blind who four-bet to 67,000.

Boivin then five-bet moved all-in with his large stack. Imsirovic snap folded and then Jaffee went into the tank. It was a huge shove for all of Jaffee's more-than-healthy stack. He considered it for about 30 seconds before laying it down as Boivin collected his hard-earned preflop pot.

Wolff Returns to Starting Stack

Level 5 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

One player was seen leaving his seat and it was at the hands of George Wolff who just made his way back to a starting stack. Mustapha Kanit opened to 8,500 from under the gun and Wolff just flat-called on his left. There was an all-in for 16,000 from the hijack which got Kanit to fold and Wolff quickly called.

Wolff held {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} and was in a coin flip against {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. The flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} gave Wolff a set of sixes and all but sealed the deal. The turn was the {7-Clubs} and the river was the {a-Diamonds} as Wolff collected the pot and sent his opponent packing.

Koon Making Use of His Second Bullet

Level 5 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Jason Koon
Jason Koon

Jason Koon was ousted earlier in the day but quickly jumped back into the action and is making good use of his second bullet thus far. When the action folded to Sam Grafton on the button, he raised it up and picked up calls from Koon in the small blind and Joao Vieira in the big blind.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the blinds checked to Grafton who continued for 7,000. Both Koon and Vieira called to see the {k-Hearts} pair the board on the turn.

The action checked around and the {5-Diamonds} landed on the river. Koon led out with a large bet of 65,000 and both of his opponents snap-folded.

Addamo Out on Second Bullet

Level 5 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Michael Addamo was on his second bullet and had just lost a portion of his stack when he bet 40,000 on the river and folded to a jam.

The very next hand, he three-bet jammed in the small blind for around 45,000 and the big blind called.

Michael Addamo: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Big Blind: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

It looked like Addamo could double as the board came out {3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, but the {k-Hearts} river gave his opponent the best hand and he was eliminated on his second bullet. Afterward, he walked over to Daniel Negreanu and appeared to tell him what happened.

Level 5 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Gal Yifrach raised from under the gun and picked up calls from David Coleman in the hijack and Scott Eskenazi in the big blind. The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and the action checked around to the {5-Clubs} on the turn.

Eskenazi led out for 11,000 and both Yifrach and Coleman called. The {10-Spades} landed on the river and Eskenazi fired out another bet of 22,000. Yifrach mulled it over for a minute before finally releasing his cards and Coleman followed suit in short order.
