River Check-Raise Takes it For Martini

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Limit Hold'em

Josh Arieh raised on the button and was three-bet by Julien Martini from the small blind. Action folded back to Arieh, who called.

Arieh called a bet from Martini on the {k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop and both players checked on the {10-Spades} turn.

Martini checked again on the {j-Spades} river — prompting a bet from Arieh. Martini then check-raised and Arieh gave his hand up after a bit of thought.

Ramos Gets Paid by Seiver

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a completed board of {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}, Felipe Ramos bet 50,000 into a pot of 60,000 while in the big blind. Scott Seiver gave it some thought for half a minute and called. Ramos tabled the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for the top two pair and that won the pot.
