Monnette Doubles, Katz Busts

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Razz

John Monnette called a bet from Josh Arieh on fourth and fifth streets before leading out on sixth. Arieh raised enough to put Monnette all-in and was called.

John Monnette: {a-}{3-} / {5-}{8-}{4-}{6-} / {q-}
Josh Arieh: {x-}{x-} / {a-}{5-}{k-}{8-} / {x-}

Arieh was drawing dead once Monnette's hole cards were revealed, and he mucked as Monnette doubled up.

At a nearby table, Adam Friedman was stacking the last of Aaron Katz's chips as Katz was eliminated.

Elezra Flushes Negreanu

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Eli Elezra defended the big blind against a button raise by Daniel Negreanu and stuck around after the {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{10-Spades} flop. He then bet the {a-Spades} turn to pick up a call by Negreanu and they checked the {5-Hearts} on the river. Negreanu announced a jack but Elezra had the winning hand with the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for a flush.

Bohlman Doubles his Short Stack

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a battle of the blinds, the flop showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Scott Bohlman was at risk out of the small blind. He was called by Josh Arieh in the big blind, who tabled his {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Bohlman only revealed three of his cards and exposed the {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. The {5-Diamonds} turn and {2-Spades} river were blanks and Bohlman then also flipped over the {k-Clubs} as his fourth card.

Despite this double, Bohlman remains the shortest stack.

Razz

Yuri Dzivielevski: {4-}{3-} / {8-}{6-}{9-}{10-} / {7-}
Felipe Ramos: {a-}{4-} / {7-}{9-}{3-}{5-} / {6-}

The cards were already flipped over as short stack Yuri Dzivielevski was at risk against felloe Brazilian Felipe Ramos. Dzivielevski was trailing from the get-go and the runout didn't provide any help. Instead, Ramos had the check mark on sixth street already and then further improved on seventh.

Yitzhaki Scoops Sammartino

Level 11 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Three-ways on a {2-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Roman Yitzhaki checked from the big blind to David Benyamine in the hijack, who bet. Dario Sammartino called on the button and Yitzhaki check-raised. Both Benyamine and Sammartino called.

Yitzhaki continued to bet on the {7-Diamonds} turn. This time only Sammartino called.

The {9-Hearts} completed the board and Yitzhaki bet again. Sammartino reluctantly called and Yitzhaki tabled {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a flopped full house.

Sammartion mucked and Yitzhaki scooped the pot.
