O'Hara Has Rotten Luck, Then Gets a Knockout

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

A loud commotion was heard coming from Ian O'Hara's table. Will Failla had gone all in with {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs} on a severe short-stack and was called by O'Hara with {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}.

O'Hara flopped a straight on {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, but the {8-Hearts}{9-Spades} turn and river put a straight on the board and split the pot between the two.

"You deserve a penalty for that," O'Hara joked. "If you win this tournament you owe me $50,000."

O'Hara's bad luck would last just one hand. Daniel Weinman shoved all in for around 100,000 and O'Hara called.

Daniel Weinman: {q-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Ian O'Hara: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Weinman wouldn't get the same miracle runout as Failla had, as the board came {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} to send him to the rail.

"If I had lost that hand I would've demanded an investigation," O'Hara said.

Steinberg Takes from Lewis

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a flop {8-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts} with a raised pot, Alan Steinberg checked, followed by Romain Lewis in the cutoff. When the {a-Hearts} came on the turn, Steinberg bet 75,000 and Lewis thought about for a minute and called.

The river fell the {9-Clubs} and both players checked. Steinberg revealed {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Spades} for a set of aces and Lewis mucked his cards.

Brown Cracks Dzivielevski's Aces

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Yuri Dzivielevski went all in pre-flop for around 145,000 and Randel Brown called with a nearly identical stack.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Randel Brown: {10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop gave Brown a full house and left Dzivielevski in desperate need of help, which didn't come on the {10-Diamonds} turn or {3-Diamonds} river. The stacks were counted down and Brown had a few thousand more chips, sending Dzivielevski to the rail near the end of the night.

Reichenstein Races Out Suarez

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Anton Suarez moved all in from under the gun and Uri Reichenstein called next to act. The rest of the table folded.

Anton Suarez: {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Uri Reichenstein: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

Suarez didn't get any help on the {8-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop. "Ten," Reichenstein said, and the {10-Diamonds} came on the turn to give Suarez a straight draw. Suarez missed the {5-Clubs} river and made his way to the payout line.
