Wong Scores Huge Double Through Ciklamini

Level 23
Jerry Wong
Jerry Wong

Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better

Patrik Ciklamini raised to 50,000 from first position and was three-bet to 180,000 by Jerry Wong on the button. Ciklamini called, and the makings of a huge pot were brewing.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{k-Spades} and Ciklamini open jammed for the rest of Wong's stack, which was about 400,000.

Wong made the call, putting his tournament life at risk.

Jerry Wong: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
Patrik Ciklamini: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

The board ran out with the {a-Hearts} and {10-Hearts}, as Wong faded Ciklamini's flush draw to earn himself the huge pot and cross one million chips.

Arnold Doubles Through Meruga

Level 22

Big O

Pearce Arnold raised from the button and was three-bet the pot by Shanmukha Meruga in the big blind for almost all of Arnold's stack. Arnold moved all-in and the players were off to see five cards with Arnold's tournament life at risk.

Pearce Arnold: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Shanmukha Meruga: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{k-Hearts}, giving Arnold a straight. He has since chipped up further and is right back in the mix with over 600,000 chips.

Asher Lower Eliminated in 12th Place ($7,617)

Level 22
Asher Lower
Asher Lower

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

With one draw complete, Jordan Siegel shoved for 313,000 and Asher Lower called with Siegel barely covered. Both players drew one.

On the third draw, Lower drew one and Siegel stood pat. Lower turned over {9-}{8-}{4-}{3-} and peeled a {k-}, but Siegel turned over {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} to take the double with the nut low. Lower was left with just 33,000.

In the following hand, Lower got it all in and Anthony Ribeiro was the lone caller.

Ribeiro drew one on all three draws. Lower drew three on the first two and one on the last.

Lower turned over {10-}{7-}{5-}{2-} and peeled a {5-} to make a pair of fives. Ribeiro tabled {9-}{6-}{5-}{3-} and peeled a {10-} to take the pot with a ten-nine and eliminated Lower in 12th place.

Noah Boeken Eliminated In 14th Place ($6,153)

Level 21
Noah Boeken
Noah Boeken

Five Card Draw High

Noah Boeken moved all-in from the small blind into Denis Strebkov's big blind. Strebkov quickly called and had Boeken crushed.

Noah Boeken: {4-}{4-}/{x-}{x-}{x-}
Denis Strebkov: {10-}{10-}{10-}/{x-}{x-}

Strebkov's trip tens were way in front, and just for good measure, he drew the fourth {10-} to eliminate Boeken from the tournament.
