Saechao Doubles Up

Level 2

Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better

Kao Chieng Saechao has been riding the roller coaster to start the day, but just found a double-up to rebuild to over a starting stack.

With a sizeable pot already built by the river, Saechao's opponent Joe Tejapiabul moved all-in on a board reading {9-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and got called by Saechao.

Kao Chieng Saechao: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Joe Tejapiabul: {8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}

Saechao's rivered full house took down Tejapiabul's flush, earning him a double-up to 40,000.

Rough Start for Saechao

Level 1

Pot-Limit Omaha

Having already lost a chunk of his stack, Kao Chieng Saechao found himself on the wrong end of another recent pot.

On a flop of {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, Saechao bet 500 on the button into two opponents and was only called by Vincent Melendez in the small blind.

The players checked through on the {2-Diamonds} turn, and then on the river, Melendez led out for 800, which Saechao called.

Melendez showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a rivered straight.

Saechao said he had Melendez on the flop as he showed {q-Spades}{3-Spades}.
