Lisa Tan Eliminated in 15th Place ($11,847)

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Seth Evans bet 200,000 on the button and Lisa Tan moved all-in for around 1,000,000 from the big blind. Evans called with slightly less.

Seth Evans: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Lisa Tan: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Evans was behind and received little help from the flop of {5-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, but the board ran out {3-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} to give him a flush and he doubled up.

"Holy shit! Holy shit. That's why we gamble in places like this!" Evans said.

Tan was left with just 185,000 and got it all-in from the small blind in the very next hand against Kaue De Souza in the big blind.

Lisa Tan: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Kaue De Souza: {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Tan was at risk but in great shape to double up. The flop of {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades} gave De Souza a pair and the {8-Diamonds} on the turn gave him two pair. The {k-Diamonds} on the river didn't help tan and she was eliminated in 15th place after losing two consecutive hands with pocket queens as a big preflop favorite.

"Not meant to be," Tan said glumly.
