Taylor Doubles, Others Not as Fortunate

Level 11

Esther Taylor is one of the many short stacks in the field looking for an early double up. Recently she got her last chips in against Nicolai Morris.

Esther Taylor: {6-}{2-}/{10-}{7-}{8-}{4-}/{7-}
Nicolai Morris: {6-}{3-}/{8-}{3-}{k-}{q-}/{9-}

Taylor quickly ran out a ten low, then improved to an eight.

Meanwhile several other players weren't as fortunate and have been eliminated including Shaun Deeb, Cliff Josephy, and Nathaniel Katzoff.

Kassela Frazzles Ruben

Level 11

Brad Ruben: {x-}{x-}/{5-}{q-}{q-} - folded on fifth street
Frank Kassela: {x-}{x-}/{3-}{7-}{a-}

Frank Kassela completed and Brad Ruben raised. Action folded back over to Kassela, who called.

Ruben called a bet from Kassela on fourth and Kassela said, "Of course you'd call. Give him another queen!"

The queen did come for Ruben on fifth and Kassela bet again, which got Ruben to fold.

"He can call the cards," Ruben said. "Someone call the floor. I'm frazzled."

Seiver Eliminates Schwartz

Level 11

Chips have been flying and bodies have been falling at table 438, with Jake Schwartz the latest victim courtesy of Scott Seiver.

Jake Schwartz:{4-}{a-}/{5-}{q-}{a-}{a-}/{x-}
Scott Seiver: {7-}{3-}/{5-}{10-}{5-}{2-}/{3-}

Schwartz started with a premium hand but as can be the case in Razz, the board ran out awfully for him and he was dead by sixth street.

Meanwhile at other tables, Esther Taylor failed to double up again and has been eliminated, along with Tom McCormick.
