Mateos Pressures Tang

Just before blinds went up, Stanley Tang raised to 75,000 from the button and Adrian Mateos three-bet to 285,000. Tang four-bet to 675,000 and Mateos five-bet shoved with Tang covered. Tang thought for a moment and got away from it.

Badziakouski Pressures Smith

Level 9 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Dan Smith opened to 60,000 from under the gun and Mikita Badziakouski three-bet to 180,000 in the cutoff. The action folded back to Smith who called to see a flop of {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Spades}.

Smith check-called a bet of 70,000 from Badziakouski and the {j-Hearts} landed on the turn. Both players checked and the {4-Hearts} paired the board on the river. Smith checked again and Badziakouski made a bet of 400,000 which finally got Smith to fold.

Meanwhile, Justin Bonomo was eliminated just moments ago but has used his one re-entry to get back in the mix.

Mateos Doubles Through Smith

With around 400,000 in the pot and {4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Diamonds} on the board, Adrian Mateos checked. Dan Smith bet 375,000 and Mateos three-bet shoved for 705,000. Smith asked for a count and called.

Mateos turned over {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} for sixes full of queens. Smith showed the losing {k-}{q-} and tossed them in the muck.

Good Flop for Peters Sends Him to the Rail

Level 9 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

David Peters raised it up from under the gun and was called by Mikita Badziakouski in the cutoff and Christoph Vogelsang in the big blind. The flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and the action checked to Badziakouski who bet 50,000. Vogelsang called and Peters pushed all in for 355,000 which both players called.

The turn was the {5-Spades} and both Vogelsang and Badziakouski checked to the {2-Diamonds} on the river. Vogelsang checked again and Badziakouski checked it back. Vogelsang showed {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for the nut flush which meant Peters was forced to the rail with his {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Badziakouski flashed {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} before his cards also went to the muck.

Vogelsang Has the Better Two Pair

A board of {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades} was spread out across the felt with around 200,000 in the middle of the pot. Fedor Holz checked from the big blind and Christoph Vogelsang threw out a bet in the hijack. Holz check-raised to 625,000 and Vogelsang shoved all in for 1,440,000 which Holz called.

Vogelsang turned over {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for two pair which had Holz drawing slim with {8-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a smaller two pair. The river was the {k-Diamonds} and Holz sent over a big double up, leaving him with just over 100,000 chips.

Johan Guilbert raised to 125,000 from early position and Jake Schindler three-bet shoved his last 578,000. Guilbert called.
