Both players checked on the flop and again on the turn.

Negreanu bet 300,000 on the river and Bujtas raised to 1,200,000. Negreanu called.

Bujtas showed for a pair of kings and Negreanu tabled to win. the pot with a flush.

Hellmuth Makes More WSOP History

Phil Hellmuth's place in WSOP history was already solidified before this tournament as a 16-time bracelet winner and former Main Event champ. There is one more distinction he now owns: the most WSOP final tables in a single year.

This is Hellmuth's seventh appearance at a WSOP final table in 2021, breaking the record held by An Tran since 1992. All seven have come in a different poker discipline:

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 700,000 from under the gun before Phil Hellmuth re-raised enough to put him all in. Bujtas called for 370,000 more.

The flop came , giving Hellmuth top two pair and the nut flush draw. The turn gave Bujtas outs to a straight and a flush.

"Hold, baby," Mike Matusow said from the rail.

The on the river completed Bujtas' flush, but it also gave Hellmuth a full house to win the pot and send Bujtas home in fifth place.

Ausmus Flops Boat to Double Through Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu opened to 600,000 and Jeremy Ausmus called in the big blind.

Ausmus checked on the flop of and Negreanu bet 800,000. Ausmus then check-raised all-in for 2,000,000 and Negreanu tanked for nearly two minutes before calling.

Ausmus had flopped a full house while Negreanu had a mere pair. The on the turn gave Negreanu outs to a better full house but the on the river locked up the double for Ausmus.

It was but a flesh wound for Negreanu, who still maintained the chip lead after the hand.
