The 2021 Main Event continues today at 11 a.m. with Day 2cef, in which the 1,807 surviving players from Days 1c, 1e, and 1f will meet back at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino to continue their journey toward Main Event glory.

Aleksandr Shevlyakov remains the overall chip leader between Days 1c, 1e, and 1f. The Russia native will sit with 392,600 in chips, or 491 big blinds, at the start of play today.

Shevlyakov's co-leaders include Adam Walton (334,000) and Tung Nguyen (328,200) — both of whom bagged their big stacks on Day 1f. David Gerassi, who was the Day 1f chip leader, will come into Day 2cef fourth in chips overall with 316,100.

Many notables will also be joining the fray in Day 2cef, including former WSOP Champions Qui Nguyen (143,800), Hossein Ensan (84,000), Scott Blumstein (95,000), Joe Hachem (186,100), Chris Moneymaker (75,800), and Phil Hellmuth, who managed to bag 94,500 in chips after making making a grand entrance late in Day 1f.

Players in Day 2cef will play five more two-hour levels, with a 75-minute dinner break after Level 8 (approximately 5:45 pm local time). The surviving players from today will reconvene with the remaining players from Day 2abd, where they will unite into a single field for Day 3 tomorrow at 11 a.m.
