Sandrock Among the Chip Leaders

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

The chair previously occupied by Marc Spitaleri is empty and his chips moved over one seat as Chris Sandrock has emerged as one of the biggest stacks in the room right now. When asked how he accumulated the chips, Sandrock mentioned that he made a set of fours when under the gun and Spitaleri had a set of treys.

Another big stack in the Purple section is Alex Livingston, who follows close behind Sandrock in the counts.

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

On the river the board was {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and there were roughly 21,000 chips in the middle in the heads up pot. River Diamond Saves Fragoso

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Action was on the turn with the board reading {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}.

Francisco Fragoso moved all in for 20,700 and was called quickly by Eric Kurtzman.

Fragoso was at risk with the {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} pair and a flush draw vs the {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} top pair top kicker of Kurtzman.

The dealer procured the {j-Diamonds} on the river to elicit a clap and fist pump from Fragoso as his flush came home to keep his main event dream alive and stave off an early elimination.

Kyriakos Papadopoulos
Kyriakos Papadopoulos

Kyriakos Papadopoulos: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Julie Silberstein: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Papadopoulos was in front with a full house and Silberstein found no help on the river as she exited the tournament.
