Gunterman Hits Two-Outer to Double Through Bronshtein

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Three players, including Yuval Bronshtein in the hijack and Mark Gunterman from under the gun, saw a flop of {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Brohshtein bet 10,000, a player on the button called, and Gunterman raised all in for 36,000.

Bronshtein called after some thought and the button folded, later claiming he had pocket jacks. Gunterman had {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} but was well behind the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} of Bronshtein.

Gunterman got no help on the {q-Clubs} turn and was left with two outs heading to the river. He got one of them with the {9-Diamonds} for a set and the fortunate double up.

"It happens," Bronshtein said, taking the bad beat in stride.

Sixes No Good for Wilson

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Brock Wilson
Brock Wilson

After the player from middle position limped in, Brock Wilson raised to 1,000 from the hijack and Conrad de Armas three-bet to 4,000 from the cutoff.

Only Wilson called and the two went heads-up to the {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} flop.

Wilson check-called the 2,000 bet from De Armas and the {2-Diamonds} turn was checked by both players to the {8-Clubs} river.

Wilson led out for 12,000 and Conrad De Armas quickly called bringing action to showdown.

Wilson tabled {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for nines and sixes but it was no good as De Armas showed {a-Spades}{2-Spades} to win the pot.

Procopio Joins the Big Stacks

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

With some 35,000 in the middle and the turn showing {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, Jason Cohen moved all-in for 28,900 from an early posiion and that sent Lucio Procopio into the tank. The call eventually followed and the cards were turned over.

Jason Cohen: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Lucio Procopio: {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

The {5-Clubs} river changed nothing anymore and Procopio claimed the pot to further build his already decent stack.

Saechao Spills Opponent

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Action was on the turn as the board read {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Kao "Flexx" Saechao bet 15,000. Jeremy Barron raised all in for 62,300. Saechao thought for a few seconds before he called.

Jeremy Barron: {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Kao "Flexx" Saechao: {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

Saechao pleaded for no ten and turned his head as the dealer peeled the {5-Diamonds} so Saechao could look again and take in the pot.

Hawkins Felted by Levingston

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante
Maurice Hawkins
Maurice Hawkins

Maurice Hawkins was spotted on his way out of the tournament area and the board was still tabled. It showed the {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Rodney Levingston claimed the pot with the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the nut flush. According to Asvin Ganesh, the money had only gone in after the river and Hawkins ended up second-best with {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for an inferior flush.

Angel Gets Massive Double After Long Tank

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Seth Angel put out a bet of 17,000 on a board of {5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{a-Clubs} before his opponent moved all in, covering his last 40,000. Angel went into the tank for several minutes, apologizing to the table while having a pained look on his face.

"Day 1 shove it all in," he said, pondering the decision. He eventually called with {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for bottom set, while his opponent turned over {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for two pair.

Angel held on the {j-Hearts} river to double up. "I thought he had that but it was still not a good feeling," he said.
