Nugent Taken Out by Wiegmann

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Michael Nugent was all-in in the small blind and at risk as he was called and covered by Cody Wiegmann in the under-the-gun position.

Michael Nugent: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Cody Wiegmann: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for Wiegmann to hold with the higher kicker and even hit a pair on the river to eliminate Nugent in 71st place.

Rigby Snaps With the Nuts

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Nicholas Rigby
Nicholas Rigby

The flop read {3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. From the small blind, Jason Osser bet 1,000,000. Nicholas Rigby called from the big blind. Breno Campelo also came along from the cutoff.

The turn was the {k-Hearts}. All three players checked.

The river came the {4-Spades} to put three spades on board. Osser checked, Rigby bet 1,125,000. Campelo raised all in, Osser folded and Rigby snap called when it was back on him and tabled the {a-Spades}{9-Spades} for the nut flush.

Campelo gave a wry smile and meekly showed the {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for the flush over flush situation as the man from Pittsburgh took the huge chunk away from the Brazilian.

Trang to the Rail

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Folded to him on the button, Christopher Trang shoved all in for around 1,100,000. Nicolas Vayssieres called from the big blind after some thought.

Christopher Trang: {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Nicolas Vayssieres: {a-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

The best hand remained ahead during the {j-}{j-}{3-}{4-}{9-} rundown to end Trang's attempt at a Main Event victory.

Holmes Chips Up Further Amid Some Confusion

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

In a three-bet pot to the {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, Zachary Mcdiarmid bet 800,000 and George Holmes in the small blind announced raise. However, he only moved forward 600,000 in chips initially and the floor was called over. It was ruled as a forced min-raise to 1.6 million and Mcdiarmid called.

On the {2-Clubs} turn, Holmes bet 2,100,000 and Mcdiarmid snap-folded.

"How much would you have raised?" Holmes was asked and he replied "I am still debating, probably 1.7 million."

Morgan Runs Out of Steam

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
John Morgan
John Morgan

Abhinav Iyer opened to 210,000 in middle position and John Morgan shipped all in for 650,000 on his left. The action folded back to Iyer who quickly called and had Morgan in a dominated position.

John Morgan: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Abhinav Iyer: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The flop of {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} provided no immediate help for Morgan. The {3-Clubs} on the turn gave Morgan some chop outs but the {j-Hearts} on the river was not meant to be as Morgan was eliminated.

"You guys are gonna miss me when I'm gone," Morgan chuckled as he stood up from his seat.

Lococo Gets a Warning, Loses Pot Shortly After

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Alejandro Lococo
Alejandro Lococo

Alejandro Lococo received a warning from the floor for apparently mucking his cards in a way that made them partially visible to others at the table.

"That's the second time I've seen it, and I've been here for four hands. He has to get a warning," said table newcomer Chance Kornuth, who added that he did not believe Lococo was acting maliciously.

Lococo appeared slightly annoyed but accepted the warning. The next hand, Kornuth opened to 200,000 from under the gun and Lococo flat-called from the small blind. Denys Prydvor also called in the big blind.

The three players checked on the flop of {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades} and checked again on the {5-Spades} turn. Lococo led out with a bet of 400,000 on the {10-Hearts} river. Prydvor called and Kornuth folded.

Lococo tabled {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} for top pair but it was no good against the {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for Prydvor for two pair.

"You lost the minimum there," said someone at the table.

Coleman Finds a King on the River to Double Through Lim

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Dragana Lim raised to 250,000 from under the gun and David Coleman three-bet to 750,000 from two seats over. Action folded back around and Lim called.

The flop was {2-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Lim check-called a 575,000 bet from Coleman. The turn was {10-Diamonds}.

Both players checked the turn and the river was {k-Diamonds}. Lim checked and Coleman fired 1,115,000 after considering his options for more than a minute. Lim fired back immediately with a raise to 2,940,000 and Coleman went deep into the tank with all of his chips at risk on the call. When Coleman was done thinking, he called. Lim turned over {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}, but Coleman had {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} to take the pot and the double with kings and jacks.

Remitio and Bianchi Click Buttons

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Joshua Remitio raised to 200,000 and Chase Bianchi three-bet to 600,000. Remitio then made it one million to go and Bianchi quickly called. On the {9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop, Remitio bet 400,000 and Bianchi raised to what appeared to be 1,150,000 in order to force an instant fold.

Shortly after, Remitio opened to 200,000 and Bianchi three-bet to 700,000. Remitio then four-bet jammed and Bianchi instantly let go.

Pinto Snaps Off Wiegmann

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Philipe Pizzari Pinto raised it up 210,000 from early position and was called by Cody Wiegmann on the button. The two players saw a flop of {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Pinto led out with a bet of 200,000. Wiegmann called and the {3-Spades} landed on the turn.

Pinot fired another bet of 350,000 and Wiegmann stuck around to see the {10-Diamonds} on the river. Pinot quickly checked this time and Wiegmann thought for a minute before sliding out a bet of 1,050,000. Pinto got the count and instantly called. Wiegmann tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for two pair but it was no match for the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} of Pinto.
