Jack-Four Good for Rigby

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Nicholas Rigby
Nicholas Rigby

Joshua Field opened in early position and Nicholas Rigby flat-called in middle position.

Field checked on the {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Spades} flop and Rigby bet 300,000. Field called, and check-called once more when Rigby fired a bet of 400,000 on the {9-Diamonds} turn.

The river brought the {3-Diamonds} and both players checked. Field turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for ace-high and Rigby showed {j-Spades}{4-Spades} for jacks and nines to win the pot.

After George Holmes had opened to 170,000 in late position, big stack Zachary Mcdiarmid three-bet to 500,000 from the blinds. Holmes gave it several minutes of thought before four-betting to 1,400,000 and Mcdiarmid let him off the hook.

Kudo Goes Big on the River

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Josh Prager opened to 225,000 from under the gun and was called by Demosthenes Kiriopoulos and Mikiya Kudo in the blinds.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked to Prager who continued with a bet of 400,000. Kiriopoulos folded but Kudo stuck around to see the {q-Diamonds} on the turn.

Both players checked and the {6-Diamonds} completed the board. Kudo led out with a bet of 1,125,000 and Prager was forced to let his hand go.

At a neighboring table, Raul Manzanares was eliminated by Nicolas Dumont who now has a stack of 3,800,000.

Roeder Forces Koh Out

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action was picked up on the flop that read {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. From the big blind, Ryan Roeder led out for a bet of 210,000. Norbert Koh was on the button and raised to 600,000. Roeder called.

The turn came the {8-Clubs}. Action went check-check to the {5-Spades} river. Roeder went against the grain and led for 1,250,000. Koh went into the tank for about a minute before tossing his cards into the muck.

Kniep and Ragozzini Tread Lightly

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

On the monotone {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} flop, Sean Ragozzini led from the big blind for 335,00 and Andreas Kniep called from the cutoff.

Both players checked on the {10-Hearts} turn and the {a-Clubs} river.

Ragozzini tabled the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for two-pair but no flush which was the best hand as Kniep raised his eyebrows a bit, tapped the table and then mucked his hand.

Park Scores Big Double Through Wall

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Hye Park
Hye Park

Shai Arbel raised to 170,000 from the hijack and Patrick Wall made the call from the cutoff. Hye Park three-bet to 650,000 from the button for the blinds to fold. Arbel did the same but Wall four-bet to 2,000,000. Park took some time and then called.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Wall continued with a bet of 1,300,000 and Park came along.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Wall shoved for Park to snap-call for the 1,420,000 he had in front of him.

Hye Park: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Patrick Wall: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Both players had flopped a set but Park was ahead with the kings.

The river completed the board with the {6-Clubs} for both of them to improve to a full house but for Park to stay ahead and score the big double-up.

Röder Tangles Twice With Zhang

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Heng Zhang raised to 165,000 and Tonio Röder three-bet to 515,000 for Zhang to call. After Zhang's check, Röder bet the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop for 400,000 and Zhang instantly folded.

One hand later, Röder defended out of the blinds and check-raised the {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop from 100,000 to 325,000. Zhang tossed in calling chips and Röder then bet the {8-Spades} turn for 825,000, which Zhang called.

After the {2-Hearts} river, Röder bet 1,525,000 and that sent Zhang deep into the tank. More than five minutes passed before he sent his cards into the muck once more as Röder's early rise on Day 6 continues.

State and Nanji Bow Out in Back-to-Back Hands

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Fatima Nanji
Fatima Nanji

After a couple of preflop raises, Adrian State and Chase Bianchi got all of their chips in the middle preflop. State was the player at risk for around 1,350,000 and was in bad shape heading to the flop.

Bianchi showed {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} and State needed to hit an ace with {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. The board ran out {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and State was eliminated.

On the next hand, the action folded to Fatima Nanji in the small blind who shoved all in for 1,150,000. Ruslan Dykshteyn was in the big blind and quickly called to put Nanji at risk.

Dykshteyn turned over {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Nanji was in trouble with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} as she stood up from her chair. The flop of {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} left Dykshteyn's pocket queens in the lead. The {k-Clubs} on the turn and the {10-Diamonds} on the river provided no help to Nanji who exited the tournament with a smile on her face.

Millstein Doubles in Cooler

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Francis Cruz opened to 160,000 in late position and Koray Aldemir three-bet to 440,000 on the button. Jacob Millstein then four-bet shoved a stack of just over 3,000,000 and only Cruz called.

Jacob Millstein: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Francis Cruz: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Millstein needed an ace to stay alive and got it when the flop came {5-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, though Cruz picked up a flush draw. The board finished out {j-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Millstein faded a club to keep his Main Event dreams alive.

"Cooler," he said after the hand.

Joseph Steps Out of Line; Campelo Profits

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Breno Campelo
Breno Campelo

Breno Campelo raised to 185,000 from under the gun and action folded around to Jeremy Joseph in the small blind. Joseph three-bet to 650,000 and Jeffrey Trudeau folded the big blind after some thought.

Campelo took his time before cutting out a four-bet to 1,395,000. Back on Joseph, he spent the better part of three minutes tanking before shoved all in, putting Campelo to the test.

A little reluctant, Campelo called it off for 3,365,000 total and the cards went on their backs.

Breno Campelo: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}
Jeremy Joseph: {k-Spades}{7-Spades}

Joseph huge five-bet shove with king-seven suited was ill-timed as he had run smack dab into the pocket kings of Campelo. The board ran out {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Joseph was left with a mere 510,000 after the hand.
