Small Three-Way Pot to Ausmus

Level 3

Pot-Limit Omaha High

Three ways to the {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades} turn with some 8,500 in the middle, it was Jeremy Ausmus who bet 6,000. He forced one fold and John Monnette also sent his cards into the muck for Ausmus to rake in the pot. Both Ausmus and Monnette are slightly above the starting stack while Yueqi Zhu on the same table is below of what he started with.

Ausmus Chips Up Through Magnuson

Level 3

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a turn board of {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}, John Monnette checked from the big blind to Jeremy Ausmus who bet 1,400. Daniel Magnuson then raised to 4,200 from the cutoff and Monnette folded.

The river brought the {7-Hearts} and Ausmus checked to Magnuson, who elected to check back.

Ausmus showed {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} for a full house and Magnuson mucked.

The duo were at it again shortly after with several thousand in the pot already on a completed board of {5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}.

Ausmus checked to Magnuson who bet 7,500. Ausmus then check-raised to 23,000, and Magnuson didn't take long to fold, shipping more of his chips over to Ausmus.

Reitz Binks the Final Draw Against Rotholz

Level 4

A-5 Triple Draw

The action started with a raise in the cutoff by Hal Rotholz and Fabian Reitz three-bet on the button for Rotholz to call. Both discarded one on the first draw and Rotholz check-raised only for Reitz to make it three bets and Rotholz called.

On the second draw, Rotholz patted and Reitz discarded one as a bet by Rotholz was met with a call by Reitz. Rotholz patted once more and Reitz took one new card. The bet by Rotholz was raised and he called to show his {6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. However, Reitz had gotten there with the {6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}{a-} and Rotholz sighed upon seeing that with a "nice catch".

Friedman Goes Back to Back vs Wattel

Level 4
Adam Friedman
Adam Friedman

Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

After scooping a pot from Mike Wattel in the big blind, Adam Friedman went two for two in the blinds as he faced Wattel again in the small blind.

On a flop of {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs}, Friedman check-called a bet from Wattel, then on the {a-Spades} turn both players checked.

The {k-Diamonds} on the river prompted a lead from Friedman, which Wattel folded to.

After dropping some chips to start the day, Friedman has returned to near a starting stack.

Gregorich Enters and Chips Up Right Away

Level 4

Pot-Limit Omaha

On the tail end of a heads-up hand between Mark Gregorich and Nick Guagenti, the former bet the {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs} river for 17,000. Guagenti called and was shown the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for aces full, to which he flashed his cards to Gregorich for a brief moment before sending them into the muck.

Kihara Chips Up; Gorodinsky Loses Some

Level 4
Naoya Kihara
Naoya Kihara

Jerry Wong put a dent into the bigger stack of Mike Gorodinsky when he chipped up without showdown. After all draws in a Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw were completed, Gorodinsky checked from under the gun. Wong bet 10,000 into a pot of nearly 39,000 while on the button and that sent Gorodinsky into a brief tank, after which he folded.

"The only limit is pot," Wong joked as he raked in the pot while Gorodinsky mentioned that he made a big laydown without disclosing his cards.

Naoya Kihara was one of the bigger stacks early on and chipped back up some now. In a Big O hand with no low possible, Kihara's {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} had flopped two pair and turned a full house, nines full of sevens with a potential hearts flush out there. John Monnette paid off the bet of Kihara and mucked.

Ohel Takes Some Chips Off Rotholz

Level 4

Seven Card Stud

Hal Rotholz: {x-}{x-} / {10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} / {x-}
Randy Ohel: {x-}{x-} / {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} / {x-}

Hal Rotholz check-called a bet by Randy Ohel on sixth street and then checked again seventh with the superior pocket pair showing. Ohel bet once more and Rotholz reluctantly paid it off. Ohel tabled the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for kings and eights, which ended up winning the pot.
