Hoffman is Disgusted with the River

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

On the turn with a healthy-sized pot already brewed the board read {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Joseph Hoffman check-raised a bet from Jason Duong. Duong made the call.

The dealer flipped the {j-Clubs} on the river and Hoffman checked to Duong who fired in a bet. Hoffman looked annoyed as he leaned back in his chair. "Did you really hit a jack?" before putting in a call.

Duong tabled {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for kings full of jacks and Hoffman frustratedly tossed his {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs} face up before the dealer shipped the pot to Duong.

Moncek Adds to Stack With Queens

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Michael Moncek's already large stack grew even more after colliding with Chip Jett in a pot.

Moncek raised from early position and Jett defended his big blind. The flop came {2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Jett check-called a bet.

Moncek bet again on the {8-Spades} turn and Jett called. The river came the {8-Hearts} and Moncek bet for the third time and was called.

Moncek turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Jett quickly mucked.

Picardi Wins One, Loses One Versus Campbell

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Robert Campbell raised from early position, then called when Mike Picardi re-raised. A bet from Picardi on the {3-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop was enough to get Campbell to fold.

The next hand, the two tangled again. Picardi raised pre-flop and Campbell defended his big blind. They checked down to the river on a board of {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} when Campbell led out with a bet.

Picardi quickly called but mucked when Campbell turned over {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for trip kings.

Gee's Kicker Leaves Lonis Short

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Jesse Lonis raised under the gun and David Gee called in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Gee checked to Lonis who continued with a bet. Gee tossed a raise into the middle and Lonis made the call.

The {q-Hearts} hit the turn and Gee fired in a bet. Lonis called.

The {7-Clubs} hit the river and both players checked. Gee tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for ace-high and Lonis sighed as he tabled {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for ace-high with a worse kicker.

Lynn Sends Bronstein to the Rail

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Peter Lynn raised in middle position and Noah Bronstein came along in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Bronstein check-raised all-in for his remaining 10,500. Lynn called and both hands were tabled.

Noah Bronstein: {k-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Peter Lynn: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Bronstein flopped top pair and was in the lead but the {a-Clubs} on the turn left him drawing slim as the {8-Hearts} landed on the river.
