Benny Glaser

With 20,000 in the middle on the {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, Benny Glaser bet 4,000 from the big blind. Max Kruse folded from early position but the hijack stuck around.

Glaser continued for 4,000 on the {7-Spades} turn and was called. The same action occured on the {3-Diamonds} river.

Glaser exposed his {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, good for a straight, and scooped the pot after his opponent mucked.

Friedman Keeps Grinding Up

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

"Seven players to the flop", said the dealer before fanning the {8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}.

The middle position player bet and was called by Perry Friedman in late position and Matt Glantz from the big blind.

Glantz took the lead on the {6-Spades} turn and was called by the two players. Glantz bet again on the {q-Spades} river. This time, Perry Friedman was the only caller

Glantz showed {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for the straight, while Friedman showed {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for the nut low and they split the pot.

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Julien Martini
Julien Martini

With 16,000 in the pot, four players saw the {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop. Aditya Prasetyo bet 2,000 from the small blind. The middle player position called and Julien Martini, in the next seat over, committed his last 2,000 chips.

The cutoff also called which brought in the {a-Clubs} turn. Prasetyo bet 4,000 and only the cutoff called.

Prasetyo continued with another bet on the {6-Spades} river and was called by the cutoff.

Prasetyo tabled his {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades} for a straight and the nut low. Martini was unable to better Prasetyo, and mucked his {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} before heading to the exit. The cutoff player decided to not show his cards and returned them to the dealer as Prasetyo raked in the pot.

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Action was picked up on the turn and Daniel Negreanu was all-in and at risk of elimination.

The board was {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and the last 6,500 chips of the Canadian were in the middle of the table.

He was in the hand against Jason Riesenberg and Tetsuo Tominaga, who was also all-in and on the verge of exiting the event.

Riesenberg showed {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs} for the nut flush and a low however, Tominaga had {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for a superior low.

"Oh okay, I'm dead", said Negreanu before throwing his {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} on the table.

The dealer completed the board with a {6-Clubs} on the river and Negreanu was eliminated as Riesenberg and Tominaga shared the pot.

Seidel Quarters Jett

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

With 35,000 in the middle on the {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{a-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} completed board. Chip Jett checked in the small blind before Erik Seidel bet 4,000 from the big blind.

Felipe Ramos folded on the button and Jett quickly called.

Seidel immediately tabled his {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for a set of fours and the nut low. Jett seemed stunned that he would only get a quarter of the pot after he also had the nut low with his {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

Hastings called Kalas all the way day for the final board to show {3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{q-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}. Kalas showed {a-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for the nut flush draw and the best low.

Hastings quickly mucked his cards and Kalas scooped the pot.
