Brunson Pips Schulman

Level 9 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Middle Position opened to 6,000 and was called by Fabian Reitz (middle position), Todd Brunson (hijack) and Nick Schulman (big blind).

On the {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, action checked to Brunson, who bet 3,000. Schulman raised to 6,000 which got rid of middle position, however Reitz and Brunson called.

The {3-Spades} prompted Schulman to check but inspired Reitz to bet 6,000. Brunson and Schulman called.

Action checked through on the {k-Diamonds} river and Brunson announced "three queens."

Schulman showed two of his cards, which were the {j-Clubs} and {j-Diamonds} to show he had three jacks. The dealer then pushed the pot Brunson's way after he tabled his hand and he did indeed have three queens as he held the {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} to scoop the pot.
