Foley and Nguyen Share Six-Way Pot

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

With 14,400 in the pot, six players saw the {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop. The small blind led for 1,200 and was called by big blind Timothy Foley. Thanh Nguyen raised to 2,400 and just the blinds called.

Action checked to Nguyen on the {6-Diamonds} turn, who fired another 2,400. Again, both the blinds called.

The {3-Hearts} river checked through to showdown. Foley had the nut-flush with his {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Nguyen had a low hand with his {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. The small blind mucked as Foley and Nguyen shared the pot.

The button opened to 2,400 and was called by Mike Matusow in the big blind. The {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop checked through to the {j-Spades} turn and Matusow bet 2,400. His opponent quickly folded.

Four-Way Pot Gets to Showdown

Level 5 : 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

With 9,600 in the pot, four players saw the {q-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. Action checked to Daniel Negreanu, who bet 1,200 from the button. Bryce Yockey (small blind), Carol Fuchs (big blind) and the hijacked called.

On the {7-Diamonds} turn, the hijack led for 2,400 and again everybody called. The action checked through on the {4-Diamonds} river.

Yockey tabled his {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for two pair, queens and sevens. The hijack rolled over his {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a seven-five low. Both Fuchs and Negreanu mucked their hands to concede pot.

Daniel Negreanu was first to act, and he raised it to 2,400. On the next seat, Bryce Yockey called, as did the button.

On the {10-Clubs}{q-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop, Negreanu made a 1,200 continuation-bet, and was called by the two players.

After Negreanu's check, Yockey bet the {4-Spades} turn. Only Negreanu called.

Both players checked the {j-Hearts} river and Yockey showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} which was the winning hand.

"I just hated that river", he said to Negreanu, before collecting the pot.

With 20,000 in the middle, four players saw the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop. A player in middle position checked before Chen Guangcheng bet 1,000 from the next seat over. The cutoff called but the button then made it 2,000. The middle position player folded and Guangcheng and the cutoff called.

On the {8-Hearts} turn, action checked to the button. They bet 2,000 and only Guangcheng called before the {5-Hearts} checked through to showdown.

Guangcheng tabled his {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for a flush which scooped the pot. His opponent exposed his {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} before returning his cards to the dealer.
