Clements Gets Value with Queens

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Scott Clements
Scott Clements

Action was picked up on the flop between Richard Bai in late position and Scott Clements on the button.

Bai check-called the flop and the turn to show the {2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Diamonds} completed board. Bai check-called once more on the last round of betting.

Clements showed his {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} for a pair of queens, which was enough to take the pot and edge his stack closer to the six-figure mark.

Heikkila Gets Half; Kruse and Bendor Take a Quarter

Level 4 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

With 15,000 in the middle on the {6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Spades} completed board, action checked to Max Kruse in hijack.

Kruse bet 2,000 and was called by Ilkka Heikkila (under-the-gun) and Yarron Bendor (middle position).

Heikkila tabled his {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs} for a pair of kings and the nut low. Bendor had the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the same pair of kings but his low was not better than Heikkila's.

Kruse turned over his {a-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines as well as the nut low.

Heikkila would take half the pot while Kruse and Bendor had to settle for just a quarter each.

Mackelprang Busts

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Dragana Mackelprang
Dragana Mackelprang

The hijack opened to 1,600 before Dragana Mackelprang committed the last of her 1,200 chips from the cutoff. Johannes Becker called from the big blind.

Becker check-raised on the {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop and was called by the hijack. Becker continued with another bet on the {k-Hearts} turn and was called. The same action was repeated on the {3-Clubs} river.

Becker, with {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, and the hijack, holding {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} had both made a wheel for their high and low hands. Mackelprang had the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for just a pair of kings and headed towards the rail.

Aces Up For Trivett

Level 3 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

On a {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop, a player in early position bet and was called by Michael Trivett and Allen Kessler, who were in middle position.

On the {7-Hearts} turn, Trivett took the lead and was called by the two players. The {3-Diamonds} river was checked through. Kessler announced "Ace-Queen" showing {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} on the table. Trivett had that beat and tabled his {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} to scoop the entire pot.
