Bojang Bursts the Bubble

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Ismael Bojang
Ismael Bojang

Ismael Bojang, 2021 WSOP bracelet winner, had another player all in on the bubble.

When the floor came over and instructed the dealer to continue the hand, Bojang turned over {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} while his opponent begrudgingly tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The board runout of {2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} did not help his opponent and Bojang scooped to burst the money bubble.

Gavin Puts Pressure

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

In a raised pot, the flop read {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and saw both the player under the gun and Lexy Gavin checked. When the {a-Diamonds} fell on the turn, Gavin's opponent check-called this time for 16,000.

The {5-Clubs} fell to complete the board and after a last check from her opponent, Gavin thought for about 30 seconds before assembling a stack of chips for a bet worth 40,000. Her opponent quickly released his cards.

Fret Doesn't Worry About All In

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A little bit of controversy as Aaron Fret threw in two red chips (5,000 each) from the late position, with blinds at 3,000/6,000. The floor was called and Fret was held to a minimum raise of 12,000, and told to make up the difference.

The hijack called the 12,000, and the button shoved for 35,000. The blinds folded, Fret re-shoved for roughly 120,000, and the hijack folded.

Button: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Aaron Fret: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The flop gave Fret a bit of a sweat as it ran out {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, but the last two streets fell {5-Clubs}{q-Spades} and Fret's pocket sevens held up.

Kings with the Call

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The middle position player opened to 15,000 preflop, but then was raised to 45,000 by Todd Rebello on the button. When the action came back around, the middle position player called, and the two players went heads-up to a flop.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and both players checked.

On the turn {6-Clubs} the middle position led out for 30,000, and Rebello called.

The {6-Spades} river brought another bet from the middle position for 40,000, and Rebello snap-called and showed {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} to which the other player mucked.

Yu Chipping Down

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The player on the button opened to 12,000 and Ben Yu considered it for a minute before making the call in the big blind.

The flop showed {4-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{k-Hearts} and both players checked to see a {q-Clubs} on the turn. This time, Yu led out for 15,000 and it didn't take long for his opponent to call.

The river came {k-Diamonds} and both Yu and his opponent checked. Yu tabled {7-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and the pot went to his opponent who held {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

Katz Shoves River

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The action was picked up with a board {9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Spades} already dealt, with a pot containing around 60,000.

Cary Katz was all in for a remaining stack slightly below 40,000. His opponent considered the call for some time before eventually folding his hand. Katz turned over {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} while the chips were sent to him.
