Katz Raises River, Gets a Fold

Level 5 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ali Imsirovic opened to 15,000 under the gun and was called by Cary Katz two seats over. Both players checked the {j-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop and {7-Diamonds} turn.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and Imsirovic bet 45,000. Katz quickly min-raised to 90,000 and Imsirovic folded after some thought.

Moncek Doubles Through Grafton

Level 5 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With approximately 200,000 in the pot on a river board of {j-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, Sam Grafton moved all in from the small blind and was quickly called by Michael Moncek who put his tournament life and bounty at risk.

Michael Moncek: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}
Sam Grafton: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Moncek's aces and jacks collected a full double-up through Grafton's top pair, top kicker, boosting his stack above 600,000, while Grafton drops to below half a starting stack.

Grafton Doubles Through Imsirovic

Level 5 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Shortly after losing a big pot, Sam Grafton found himself all in and at risk preflop with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} against the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} of Ali Imsirovic.

Grafton got the help he needed on the {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop. The {9-Clubs} turn and {4-Hearts} river did not improve Imsirovic, who suffered only a slight dent to his stack but did miss out on Grafton's $25,000 bounty.

Grafton Ousted by Brutal River, Rheem Claims Bounty

Level 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a board of {9-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, Sam Grafton check-raised Chino Rheem's continuation bet, only to be met by an all in. Grafton snap-called and was in good shape with {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts} against Rheem's {k-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

The {3-Spades} turn brought no help to Rheem but the {10-Diamonds} river was a dagger to Grafton, gifting Rheem a nearly 1,000,000-chip pot and a $25,000 bounty.

Crivello Out, Lichtenberger Back In

Level 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Frank Crivello moved his last 115,000 in from late position and was called by Ali Imsirovic in the small blind.

Frank Crivello: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Ali Imsirovic: {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

Imsirovic went bounty hunting and his call paid off as the dealer spread a board of {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, giving Imsirovic top pair and a $25,000 bounty, while Crivello was sent to the rail.

He'll have the option to use his one re-entry should he choose, as Andrew Lichtenberger has just done, re-entering the tournament with a fresh 600,000 chips.

Elias Sends Ausmus to the Rail

Level 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jeremy Ausmus opened on the button and was met by a three-bet to 75,000 by Darren Elias in the small blind. Ausmus opted to flat call.

On a flop of {7-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} Elias continued for 50,000. Ausmus responded with an all in, which Elias snapped off.

Jeremy Ausmus: {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Darren Elias: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Ausmus' top pair was no good, leaving him at risk and needing running cards to survive. The {8-Spades} turn did give Ausmus a gutshot and some hope but the {3-Diamonds} on the river did not bring in the straight and instead sent Ausmus packing. Elias, meanwhile, chipped up and claimed the $25,000 bounty.

Rast Shoves River Against Badziakouski

Level 6 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Action folded around to Brian Rast, who made a bet of 20,000 from the button, and Mikita Badziakouski asked how much Rast had before calling from the small blind.

The flop ran out {8-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}, which Badziakouski checked over to Rast. Rast put in a bet of 25,000, only to be check-raised by Badziakouski to 75,000. Rast didn't think long before putting in another bet to 185,000, which after some thought, Badziakouski called to see another card.

Both players decided to check the {9-Hearts} turn, which brought an {a-Clubs} to complete the board.

Badziakouski checked, and Rast didn't waste much time before announcing that he was all in. Badziakouski thought for a while, eventually folding his hand and sending the sizeable pot Rast's way.
