Gerhart bet again on sixth street and Zhu called again. On seventh street, Gerhart check-called a bet from Zhu. Gerhart tabled aces and kings which won the pot as Zhu mucked.

On fifth street, Cary Katz bet with aces showing. John Monnette thought for a while with his short stack before he folded kings up {k-}{9-} face up.

Katz showed him it was a good fold as he revealed the buried queens to go with the aces.

Picking action up on fifth street, Kevin Gerhart and Adam Friedman checked to Phil Ivey, who bet and was called by both opponents.

On sixth street the action was checked through, then on seventh after Gerhart checked again it was Friedman betting out. Ivey called, and after a bit of deliberation, Gerhart folded.

Friedman showed aces and sevens for a winning two pair, which sent Ivey's cards into the muck, while the chip leader grew his stack again.

As David Prager was walking to the payouts another all in was occurring on the table behind as Brian Lieberman was all in and the cards were being dealt out.

Jean Gaspard ended up with the best of it after all the cards were flung and Lieberman followed Prager to the payouts in almost single-file line fashion.

David Prager was all in for his last chips and was well behind Adam Friedman who ended up making two pair and sending Prager to be the first one to collect a payout slip in this tournament.

Zhu Survives and Spins It Up

Kevin Gerhart bet on fifth and sixth street with the lead to put pressure on Yueqi Zhu who called on sixth for all of his chips. Zhu had the best hand with queens which held on the river as he collected the pot.

Shortly after Zhu won another nice pot off of Phil Ivey to spin his stack up to a healthy amount after nearly being out the door.

Picking action up on sixth street with approximately 100,000 in the pot already, David Prager checked to Phil Ivey who bet. Prager called, and Ben Diebold and Kevin Gerhart who were also in the pot folded.

Heads-up to seventh street, Prager checked to Ivey again, who continued not to be afraid of Prager's double-paired board as he bet again.

Prager gave his decision a couple of minutes of thought before deciding to fold, sending a large pot to Ivey, whose stack continues to grow as the evening progresses.

Johnson Rivers Winner to Stay Alive

Marco Johnson bet on fourth and fifth, which put him all in vs James Paluszek who called.

Johnson was in the lead with a pair of kings vs the pair of tens of Paluszek. But the river gave Paluszek the lead as he turned over his card first the {8-Hearts} to give him two pair. Johnson however would respond with the winner as he rolled over the {k-Spades} for trip kings to stay alive.
