Kane Kalas: {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs}/{x-}{x-} folded fifth street
Jean Gaspard: {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs}{k-Clubs}/{x-}{x-}{x-} folded seventh street
Phil Ivey: {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}/{x-}{x-}{x-}

Phil Ivey bet on fourth street and got two calls. Kane Kalas folded on fifth street following Ivey's bet to leave himself with just 35,000 and Gaspard called.

Ivey fired again on sixth and seventh. Gaspard called on sixth but folded on seventh street to send Ivey the pot. Kalas would be eliminated shortly afterwards when his short stack was dusted away by Adam Friedman.

Ivey Sends Friedman into the Tank

Level 15

Phil Ivey: {x-}{x-}/{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades}/{x-}
Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-}/{10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}/{x-}

Picking action up on fifth street with several bets in the middle already, Phil Ivey called a bet from Adam Friedman, then on sixth street after Friedman bet again, Ivey came with a raise, which Friedman called after a brief pause.

Friedman then checked seventh street and Ivey continued betting, which sent Friedman deep into the tank. The three-time $10,000 Dealer's Choice champion apologized to his tablemates as he spent over three minutes contemplating a decision.

Ultimately he chose to preserve that last bet and fold, telling Ivey, "I want to know that one later".

Action was on fifth street as David Prager check-raised Yuval Bronshtein's bet who called. Bronshtein paired his nine on sixth street and led with a bet, Prager called.

It went check-check after seventh street and Prager tabled the {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for trip eights and Bronshtein mucked.

Phil Ivey: {2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}/{a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Adam Friedman: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}/{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{x-}

After losing a recent pot that dropped him under 70,000 chips, Phil Ivey has gotten healthier again thanks to a pot with Adam Friedman.

Picking the action up on fifth street, Friedman bet with a pair of sixes on board and was called by Ivey. After Friedman double paired his board on sixth he bet again, but Ivey was undeterred and called.

Friedman then checked seventh street and Ivey went into the tank. Ultimately he decided to check.

Friedman declared "queens and jacks", showing jacks in the hole to improve his two pair.

Ivey however showed his aces in the hole for a better two pair with another deuce in the hole as well to take the pot and boost his stack back to 200,000.

Everyone Checks it Down

Level 15

Marco Johnson: {2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}/{x-}{x-}{x-}
John Monnette: {3-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}/{x-}{x-}{x-}

Kevin Gerhart: {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}/{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Action was four ways on fourth street as everyone checked. John Monnette took the lead with a pair of kings on fifth street, he checked and everyone followed suit. On sixth street Monnette made two pair while Brian Lieberman made a pair of queens. Again everyone refrained from betting.

It checked around once again on seventh street. Gerhart tabled the wheel {5-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Hearts} with a bit of a chuckle as he collected the pot.

Friedman Cuts Deep Into Gaspard

Level 15

Cary Katz: {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}/{x-}{x-} folded fifth street
Jean Gaspard: {j-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}/{x-}{x-}{x-}
Adam Friedman: {5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Spades}/{k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts}

Action was on fourth street as Cary Katz bet and was called by Jean Gaspard and Adam Friedman. On fifth street Gaspard bet, Friedman raised, Katz folded and Gaspard quickly called.

Friedman fired twice more on sixth and seventh and was called both times by Gaspard. Friedman tabled kings up with the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{2-Hearts} which was good as Gaspard mucked and Friedman gathered in more chips to his burgeoning stack.
