A Tsunami On Vegas

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Javier Garcia Reynaldos
Javier Garcia Reynaldos

Javier "Tsunami" Garcirreynolds was on the button when a player in the cutoff raised. Tsunami called, so did the player in the big blind.

Three players saw the {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop. After a check from big blind, the original raiser put a continuation bet out and Tsunami was the only one to take a chance on a turn : {6-Diamonds}. Both players checked this card.

On a {3-Hearts} river, the Spanish announced all-in for about 50,000 after a check from his opponent, who finally called with {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. He was way behind {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for Tsunami, who made a perfect profit of this set on the flop, to double up.

Baron Sends Eum Packing

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Young Sik Eum
Young Sik Eum

Young Sik Eum kindy informed PokerNews of the action that lead to Reis Baron busting him.

According to Eum, he oppened to 3,500 under-the-gun and Baron called from the big blind.

The flop fell {a-}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Baron lead into Eum for 6,500. Eum made the raise to 15,000. Baron then put Eum all-in for his last 33,000 chips and Eum called, cards were tabled.

Young Sik Eum: {a-Clubs}{k-}
Baron Reis: {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Reis had a flush draw and needed help. The {5-} turn changed nothing but the {k-Clubs} came in big for Reis on the river.

Eum told PokerNews that Reis had said his wife put him into the tournament as a birthday gift. Quite the story for Reis so far, with him now around the 250,000 chip mark.

Guidez Breaks A Dream

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Sebastien Guidez open 3,600 and a player in the blind raised it to 7,200.

That raise did not stop Guidez who four-bet to 15,000, almost what his opponents had and called.

Sébastien Guidez: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

The board came {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Guidez was lucky to catch a Queen on the turn and bust a new player.

Frazer James Gets Paid

Level 10 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

A scatter of pink chips were in the middle around, approximately 40,000, when Joshua Frazer James' opponent bet 11,500.

With less than 10 seconds passing, Frazer James then moved all-in for 22,600 total. With just 15,000 more to call, his opponent begrudgingly called and wasn't happy when Frazer James showed {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the turned full-house.

The opponent showed {a-}{q-} and the sizeable pot was sent to Frazer James.
