Goldstein Wins Out Versus Livingston

Level 6 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Alex Livingston was betting out on fifth street, three ways. One opponent called, so did Laurence Goldstein, known as Larry Goldstein.

On sixth street, Livingston continued and the unnamed opponent called again. This time Goldstein raised it up. Livingston made the call and the other opponent folded.

Heads up to seventh street and Livingston checked. Goldstein bet, continuing the story. Alex peeled his cards, thought for a moment, before mucking.

Down and Up For Mather

Level 6 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Limit Hold'em

In a three-way pot, Bob Mather called three times in position, on a {3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{a-Hearts} board and showed {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for top pair on the river. But it was not enough against {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for Matthew Kursar, who had a better kicker. Kursar took that pot.

On the very next hand, Mather bet on the flop, the turn and the river, while his opponent Lou Perrone just check-called each time.
Mather showed {8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for trip eight, and it was the winning hand.

Ramdin Wins Against Soulier

Level 6 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Seven Card Stud

Fabrice Soulier: {x-}{x-}/{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{x-}
Victor Ramdin: {x-}{x-}/{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{a-Hearts}{x-}

Victor Ramdin was seen betting on every street. On seventh street, he also bet in the dark, and Fabrice Soulier finally folded.

"It's always the same with you Victor, you've got a lot of chips and after dinner break, we all know you are going to lose them", said Soulier to Ramdin, who laughed out loud in response.

Bad Start For Tedeschi

Level 5 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Limit Hold'em

Paul-François Tedeschi is already down to less than half of his starting stack after he lost several hands.

On the last one, he played with {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and bet on the flop, bet on the turn and check-called on the river of a {q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{8-Spades} board, against Andreas Bremer.

The German player showed {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a set of fives, and Tedeschi is now in trouble.
