John Racener: {x-}{x-}/{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{q-Hearts} - folded sixth street

Picking action up on fourth street, Perry Friedman bet his king high and only received a call from John Racener.

On fifth street, the players checked, but on sixth, Friedman fired again and Racener folded.

"I picked up a low draw," said Friedman as he showed {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts} in the hole for a pair of kings and a draw to an eight.

Ashby Chipping Up

Level 8
Richard Ashby
Richard Ashby

Richard Ashby: {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}/{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Mike Watson: {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}/{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Shawn Sheikhan: {x-}{x-}/{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} - folded fourth street
Joe Hachem: {x-}{x-}/{3-Spades} - folded bring-in

A short-stacked Joe Hachem folded his bring-in after Shawn Sheikhan, Richard Ashby, and Mike Watson each got a pair of bets in on third street.

After Sheikhan checked fourth street, Ashby bet and Watson raised, forcing Sheikan out of the pot. Ashby called, then led out on fifth street, with Watson now calling.

Sixth street saw Watson pick up a jack and take over the betting lead. He did just that with Ashby now calling.

Watson bet again on seventh and Ashby called, revealing that both players had missed lows, but ended up with two pair.

Ashby's eights and fives took the pot over Watson's fours and threes.

Joe Hachem: {q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}/{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Mike Watson: {x-}/{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}/{x-}{x-}
Richard Ashby {3-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}/{4-}{3-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Action picked up heading to fourth street with Joe Hachem all in and Mike Watson and Richard Ashby trying to knock him out. On fourth, fifth, and sixth streets, Watson bet and Ashby called all three streets while Hachem watched on.

On seventh, Watson slowed down and checked. Ashby went for the bet and Watson called.

Ashby showed his two pair which was good enough to beat Watson. It wasn't good enough to eliminate Hachem, who showed the better two pair for the full triple.
