Schwartz Staying Afloat

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Kristijonas Andrulis raised under the gun and called a three-bet from Jake Schwartz on the button. Andrulis check-called the {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, and both players tapped the table after the {q-Clubs} turn.

Schwartz bet the {9-Hearts} river, and Andrulis slid his hand to the dealer.

Baker Doubles Through Glaser

Level 8 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

All of the chips were in the middle after a jack-high flop, with David "Bakes" Baker at risk against Benny Glaser.

David "Bakes" Baker: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Benny Glaser: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

The runout did not threaten Baker's queens, resulting in a double up.

Ichinose Chips Up in Showdown Against Wasserson

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

Kosei Ichinose: {x-}{x-} / {j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}{k-Spades} / {x-}

Eric Wasserson was left visibly confused when he had checked sixth street and then faced a bet by Kosei Ichinose. He then also checked seventh and eventually paid off another bet by Ichinose, who rolled over the {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Clubs} for a set of jacks to win the pot.

Reyna Leaves Mizrachi Frustrated

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Razz

Robert Mizrachi: {x-}{x-} / {7-}{4-}{5-}{k-} / {x-}
Roberto Reyna: {x-}{x-} / {7-}{a-}{2-}{10-} / {x-}

Robert Mizrachi tangled with Roberto Reyna and bet sixth as well as seventh street. The final bet was out of turn to which Reyna quickly said "I will check for sure" and then did so, making sure that the final bet of Mizrachi stood.

When it was up to reveal the cards, Reyna flashed the {9-}{6-}{3-} for a seventy-six and Mizrachi double-checked his cards before tossing them into the muck.

Monnette Makes his Move

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

John Monnette: {x-}{x-} / {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{j-Hearts} / {x-}

Eugene Katchalov: {x-}{x-}{x-} / {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {x-}

John Monnette raised, finding calls from Wilson Igwe and Eugene Katchalov. The trio traded bets through fourth and fifth, with Monnette committing chips on sixth followed by two calls.

Igwe led out on seventh with Katchalov calling, but Monnette raised the stakes. This resulted in folds from both opponents, as Monnette collected the pot.

No Incineration But a Small Pot for Brunson

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Todd Brunson raised it up from under the gun to get called by Travis Trail in the small blind. Trail led the {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop and Brunson raised for his opponent to call. On the {8-Diamonds} turn, Trail checked and Brunson took down the pot with a bet.

While it was no incineration as typically used by Brunson on Twitter when scooping pots, it gave his stack a little boost.

Shack-Harris Busts Landry and Leonard With a Big Scoop

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Brandon Shack-Harris
Brandon Shack-Harris

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Wayne Landry: {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} / {8-Spades}{k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}
Brandon Shack-Harris: {a-}{a-}{2-} / {2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Patrick Leonard: {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} / {9-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} / {j-Hearts}

Wayne Landry completed and received multiple callers as the action then escalated throughout the remaining streets between him, Patrick Leonard and Brandon Shack-Harris. Leonard made it three bets on fifth to get called by Shack-Harris and Landry.

Landry bet sixth and Leonard raised, Shack-Harris called and Landry called all-in for 5,200 with the words "I might be drawing dead". Leonard had few chips behind and got those in after seventh to show a flush. However, Shack-Harris had aces full of deuces and Landry's spades flush draw had bricked while he was already drawing dead when the remainder of his short stack went in.
