Yockey Wins Razz Pot Against Volpe

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Razz

Paul Volpe: {x-}{x-} / {6-}{9-}{7-}{10-} / {x-}
Bryce Yockey: {x-}{x-} / {2-}{7-}{3-}{7-} / {x-}

Bryce Yockey bet the superior board on fourth and fifth street to then see Volpe gain the lead on sixth. After seventh street, Volpe check-called a bet and was shown the {10-}{8-}{5-} by Yockey for an {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. That beat the briefly exposed {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} of Volpe.

Wasserson Scoops Three-Way Pot

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

Eric Wasserson: {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} / {4-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Jeff Madsen: {x-}{x-} / {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{x-Hearts} / {x-}

Kevin Song check-folded in disgust on seventh street with an open pair of nines showing when Eric Wasserson bet and Jeff Madsen called. Wasserson tabled aces up to win the pot as Madsen just shook his head before tossing the cards into the muck.

"Nice hand, nice pot," another player at the table remarked as Wasserson chipped up significantly while Madsen was left very short in chips.

Andres Korn
Andres Korn

Seven Card Stud

Andres Korn: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades} / {k-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Ben Yu: {x-}{x-} / {3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs} / {x-}

Andres Korn was heads up with Ben Yu and betting on fourth street, which was called. Yu then raised on fifth before both players checked on sixth.

Korn led out again on seventh, and Yu took a few minutes before ultimately making the call. Korn revealed his two pair to take the pot and pad his chip lead.

Updated Counts Table 143

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

John Veltri further lost ground and plummeted to the bottom of the leaderboard while Maxx Coleman chipped up. That was also thanks to earning three quarters in an Omaha Hi-Lo hand in which his {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} had a very minor kicker advantage versus {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Spades} on a {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} board.

Cohen Eliminated by Mizrachi

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Jonathan Cohen
Jonathan Cohen

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Jonathan Cohen: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} / {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs} / {10-Spades}
Robert Mizrachi: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} / {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts} / {2-Spades}

Jonathan Cohen was left very short and got it in the previous hand already, in which he had to settle for a chop. He then completed and Robert Mizrachi raised as the following raising war got all the chips in on third street already.

Kings versus aces saw Mizrachi improved to aces up right away and he also made a low by the time seventh came. Cohen had huge outs after sixth with the superior low and flush draw but bricked the world.

Lamb Spikes the River

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Maxx Coleman raised on the button before Ben Lamb three-bet from the small blind. Coleman made the call, and the pair saw the {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop.

Lamb's bet was called to the {7-Spades} turn, with another bet-call leading to the {q-Hearts} river. Lamb bet one more time, and Coleman made the call.

Lamb turned over {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for top pair, and Coleman was clearly frustrated with the river card as he mucked his hand.

Mike Gorodinsky called a bet by Kristijonas Andrulis on fifth and then paired up on sixth to bet the remaining two streets. Andrulis tank-called the final bet and mucked when he was shown a king-high straight by Gorodinsky.

Ian Johns: {9-Spades}{a-Diamonds} / {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} / {3-Hearts}

Ian Johns and Mike Matusow got their chips in with Johns at risk. Both had aces right from the get-go and it was Johns who improved to aces and tens on sixth. Matusow only had a king as out to scoop and spiked it on the final card to send Johns to the rail in daunting fashion.

Kristijonas Andrulis opened to see Brad Ruben quickly three-bet. Koray Aldemir followed with a four-bet, and only Ruben called. By fifth street, the remainder of Aldemir's stack was in the middle.

Aldemir was unable to improve on sixth or seventh, ending his run just short of the money.

McKenna Doubles Through Madsen

Level 15 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

Jeff Madsen raised on the button and called a three-bet by Michael McKenna in the small blind. McKenna bet the {9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop with 9,000 behind and then called all-in when Madsen raised.

Michael McKenna: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Jeff Madsen: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The board completed with the {j-Clubs} turn and {a-Clubs} river for McKenna to survive.
