Razz

Mike Gorodinsky: {3-}{2-}{6-}{3-}/{4-}{7-}{8-}
Brad Ruben: {x-}{x-}/{8-}{7-}{2-}{k-}/{x-}
Jerry Wong: {x-}{x-}/{9-}{8-}{9-} - folded fifth street

On fifth, Gorodisnky bet again showing three low cards, Ruben called, Wong folded after pairing.

Gorodinsky paired on sixth, but that didn't stop him from betting when checked to. Ruben didn't see a great card either with his king, but he also called.

Ruben checked seventh dark, Gorodinsky elected for a bet, and Ruben called after some thought.

Gorodinsky's seventy-six was good enough to take down the pot.

Jerry Wong check-called a bet by Mike Gorodinsky on the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}{a-Spades} turn and then checked the {a-Hearts} on the river. Gorodinsky bet again and Wong mulled it over for more than a minute.

"Do you really have pocket eights?" he nearly whispered and eventually paid it off. Gorodinsky tabled the {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for quad aces after he had improved on every street.

Lamb Chips Up; Bojang Chops With Wong for Some Profit

Level 19 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Ismael Bojang defended the small blind against Ben Lamb and check-called a bet on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop and {q-Spades} turn. He checked the {2-Clubs} river and Lamb bet once more to eventually take it down uncontested.

Jerry Wong then raised in the cutoff and Mike Gorodinsky called on the button, Bojang raised in the small blind and received two calls. The {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop was checked and the {8-Diamonds} turn was checked by Bojang, who was then the only one to call a bet by Wong.

After the {5-Spades} river, Bojang check-called once more and earned the low with {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts} as Wong had {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} for eights full of fives with a worse low.

Bojang went into the tank and eventually folded, then grabbed some more of his fresh sushi that had just been delivered a few minutes ago.

Shortly after, a battle of the blinds between Yeh and Bryce Yockey saw the former check-call a bet on the {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} flop. They checked the {4-Spades} turn and the {5-Hearts} river was bet by Yeh. Yockey called after some consideration and mucked when he was shown the {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for trips queens by Yeh.

Craig Chait: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}/{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Gary Benson: {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}/{j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Eric Rodawig: {x-}{x-}/{8-Spades}{a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}/{x-}

Eric Rodawig completed showing an eight, both Craig Chait and Gary Benson made the call.

On fourth and fifth, action repeated, Rodawig bet and both players made the call.

On sixth, things ramped up. Rodawig bet, Chait two-bet, Benson called. Rodawig added a third bet, Chait four-bet, Benson called again. Rodawig then capped the betting at five bets, and all three players were headed to a seventh, Benson only having a single 5,000 chip behind.

Action checked to Benson who committed his final chip and all players went to a showdown.

"Flush," announced Benson, which was good for the high to keep him alive.

Chait had the seventy-six perfect for the low, Rodawig was left watching them chop up his chips.

More for Bojang Without Showdown

Level 19 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Ben Lamb: {x-}{x-} / {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs} folded on fifth
Ismael Bojang: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{a-Clubs}

Brad Ruben mentioned Popeye's as his guilty pleasure in table chat as it is "so hard to drive by", which may or may not have been triggered by one of the finalists in the Thunderdome wearing a KFC bucket on his head.

At the table, the action is somewhat slow and Ben Lamb completed with an ace for Ismael Bojang to call. Bojang bet his lead on fourth to get a call and bet once more on fifth, which ended the hand right there with a fold from Lamb.
