Blumenthal Shows Baker Two Pair

Level 1 : 200/400, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

Eddie Blumenthal: {x-}{x-}/{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}/{x-}
David "ODB" Baker: {x-}{x-}/{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}/{x-}

Heads-up on fifth street, David "ODB" Baker put out a bet and was called by Eddie Blumenthal.

Blumenthal, with four to a straight showing, bet on sixth with Baker calling. Both players checked on seventh.

Baker, who won his first WSOP bracelet in an Eight Game Mix event in 2012, flashed a queen for a pair, but Blumenthal turned over {j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} for two pair, jacks and sixes, to add to his stack early on Day 1.
