"Maybe Chop?" says Hecklen

Level 19 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Henrik Hecklen
Henrik Hecklen

Brandon Steven raised to 425,000 from the cutoff and got calls from Henrik Hecklen on the button and Alex Foxen in the big blind.

The {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop checked to Hecklen who bet 400,000. Foxen check-raised to 1,200,000 and Steven folded.

Hecklen used a time bank before raising to 2,200,000 and Foxen called.

The pair then duly checked down the {5-Clubs}{j-Clubs} runout.

"Maybe chop?" said Hecklen but Foxen tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Spades} for a better two pair and took down the pot.

Hecklen All But Doubles Through Foxen

Level 19 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Alex Foxen raised it up in early position and Henrik Hecklen called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Hecklen check-called a bet of 350,000 from Foxen.

The {8-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and Hecklen led out with a bet of 1,300,000. Foxen called and the {10-Clubs} landed on the river. Hecklen moved all but 25,000 chips into the middle for a bet of 3,425,000. Foxen went into the tank for over a minute before flicking in the call.

Hecklen turned over {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for a flopped straight and Foxen pitched his cards into the muck.

Petrangelo Bubbles the Super High Roller

Level 19 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Nick Petrangelo
Nick Petrangelo

Nick Petrangelo raised to 400,000 in the cutoff and Alex Foxen announced all in as the big stack from the small blind. Petrangelo made sure the other table was finished their hand before calling off his stack of just over 6,000,000 chips.

Nick Petrangelo: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Alex Foxen: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Petrangelo was hoping to be in a dominating position but they were simply just coin-flipping. The flop came {6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and Petrangelo picked up some counterfeit outs. The {2-Hearts} on the turn was of no help and the {q-Clubs} on the river meant Petrangelo was eliminated on the money bubble.

One Pair Good for Ivey

Level 19 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Blind on blind Phil Ivey bet 300,000 on the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and Alex Foxen called.

Ivey bet again this time for 550,000 on the {k-Diamonds} turn and again Foxen called. Both players checked the {10-Spades} river and Ivey tentatively turned over {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for top pair. However, it was good and he took down the pot.

Hecklen Doubles Through Soverel to Stay Alive

Level 19 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Sam Soverel made it 425,000 to go on the button and Henrik Hecklen ripped all in for 2,800,000 in the big blind. Soverel quickly called and the cards were tabled once the action at the other table was completed.

Henrik Hecklen: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Sam Soverel: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

It was a coin flip and Hecklen took the lead on the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop. The {3-Clubs} on the turn and the {4-Spades} on the river were no help to Soverel who sent over a double up.

Aces vs. Ace-King on the Money Bubble

Level 19 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Alex Foxen
Alex Foxen

Phil Ivey folded under the gun and Alex Foxen raised to 450,000 in the next position. On the button, Dan Zack three-bet to 1,100,000 and the blinds both folded.

Foxen then four-bet to 2,875,000 and Zack asked how much he was playing before five-betting all in. Foxen called for 10,200,000.

Alex Foxen: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Dan Zack: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop gave Zack a flush draw and a shot at bursting the Super High Roller bubble, but the {10-Hearts},{2-Hearts} runout was safe and Foxen looked visibly relieved as he doubled into the chip lead.

Steven Shows Aggression on Mateos

Level 19 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Adrian Mateos raised to 400,000 on the button and Brandon Steven called out of the big blind. The flop came {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Steven checked to Mateos who continued for 350,000. Steven check-raised to 1,400,000 and Mateos called.

The turn was the {2-Hearts} and Steven splashed in a bet of 1,700,000. Mateos gave it the full 30 seconds and then decided to ditch his cards.
