Beckers Let It Go River

Level 15 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Natalie Bromley raised to 11,000 in the cutoff and Wendey Beckers opted to call in the big blind.

The dealer showed a flop {5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{k-Hearts} and Beckers led out for 12,000 which Bromley called. On the {q-Diamonds} turn, Beckers check-called this time for 21,000.

The {2-Hearts} hit the river and Beckers checked one last time. Bromley sent another 21,000. Beckers ended up folding her hand and Bromley only showed a {a-Hearts}. Beckers told the table she had a pair and a straight draw.

The flop fanned {3-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and Liu sent 25,000 in the middle. After some time, Richards sent her cards into the muck.

Miller Takes Yon Out

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Sophia Yon moved all in from under the gun for 74,000, just under 20 big blinds. Action folded to Stephanie Miller on the button who went into the tank for about 2 minutes.

"Sorry, ladies," as she contemplated. Eventually, she landed on a call.

Sophia Yon: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Stephanie Miller: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Needing help, Yon saw the {2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} run out, and her day was over.

"That's supposed to be a snap, I know. But what is she doing that with for all her chips?" said Miller.

She thought through it and came to the correct decision this time, adding chips to her growing stack.

Short Doubles Through Bricknell

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The flop read {4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Clubs} when Joan Short checked in the blinds and Michelle Bricknell bet 10,000, which called Short.

The turn fell the {7-Diamonds} and Short check-raised all in for 78,000 after Bricknell sent a bet worth 22,000. Bricknell ended up calling for the following showdown:

Joan Short: {4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Michelle Bricknell: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Short had hit two pair and the {k-Diamonds} river didn't change anything to give the double up to Short.

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On a flop {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts} with a pot already containing around 75,000, Huayi Zheng bet 20,000 from the small blind. Nancy Nguyen, on the button, thought about her move for a minute and raised it to 50,000. Zheng let it go.
